Can anybody share information about dose of Valtrex?

I am new here. My son (110 lbs.)is trying Valtrex. He has EBV, Herpes, CMV,

etc. ..... Hope to improve his Auditory processing and Language Disorder. His

dr. prescribed 500mg x2 per day. I feel the dose is too low. Please help by

posting your dose experiences with die offs and effects. Thank you very much in

advance!
