I used to be extremely allergic to ragweed, but the evening primrose oil has controlled my respiratory allergies since I started taking it for night sweats during premenopause 15 years ago. For whatever reason, I have no problem with this salve at all, it is very soothing. It also has beeswax in it.Here are the details:>Country Comfort Herbals - Herbal Savvy Golden Seal-Myrrh - 2 oz. - $5.00

I tried Myrhh Oil once but I don't remember why I stopped using it. Perhaps it was too strong, as I am sensitive to a lot of things. I know Goldenseal is also an anti-microbial, but it is related to ragweed (just like camomile tea), so I can't use it. I'm glad they work for you!

I thought about my spreading rash and bought two.

Hi, Khaya, I completely eliminated sugar foods from my diet for two whole years. However, a part per million of newly mown grass still triggered a fierce allergic response, so I returned to a less healthy diet. The EPO eliminates all of my respiratory symptoms. Although habit makes me hesitate to do so, still, I can, if I wish, walk

outside in May or October and take a nice deep breath without even so much as a tiny tickle!I

noticed after a while that when I stopped using the EPO, I would be allergy free for about three days before I had to start up again. Then the EPO would kick right back in, whereas the first time around, it took

three weeks for it to kick in. (Effective dosage then was 3900mg/day, taken with water at night before bed). Now, I only have to take a

few 1300mg caps a month to maintain, and I could probably skip a month or so. Still, I have gone back to taking the EPO regularly again, because I think the EPO is the reason I have not, since 1988 (when I believe I got Lyme), ever had brain fog. It is the only thing I have identified that I have been doing over the long term that most others have not, or have not reported it.The

EPO has also worked for four of my friends, three men and a woman; however, it did not work for my mom, possibly due to all the prescription meds she takes. I seem to remember reading that the EPO can

be blocked by some cardio meds. Still, EPO is an essential fatty acid, so even if it doesn't get rid of your allergies in a month or so, at the

least you will have eliminated a lot of oxidation in that time. Plus it

is not expensive. I can get two 60-count bottles of 1300mg caps for under $20 with shipping.

I

like the purity and potency of NOW Foods products, so I google "NOW Super Primrose 1300" and then choose the source with the best price. Sometimes the 120-count bottle is cheaper than two 60-count bottles, but

not often.Kajay To: Lyme_and_Rife Sent: Saturday, June 2, 2012 6:38 AM Subject: Re: OT herx rash - goldenseal-myrhh salve helping

Thanks Kajay,

I take evening primrose oil too, and my respiratory allergies improved enormously when I cut out sugar, but they're not gone. I have taken goldenseal orally and had to stop. I also have a problem with all bee products! But this sounds like an excellent salve for most people ...

Hi a nice story ,

a girlfreind of mine allergic since childhood on medcaiation for her allergic asthma went in Guadeloupe one month for hollyday .

her asthma disapeared for good for the first ime and for 5 consecutive years . guess what she did the day it showed again ?

she went back to guadeloupe instead of seing the doctor and it worked .

The logic ? she is from France . spending 4 weeks in a clamte and plants totally diferent from France freed her obset body from the allergen she was saturated with .

also the air is very upre coming from the east side of the Atlantic . This allowed th ebody to reset its tolerability and rest and the same allergen when she came back did nto trigger anymore

the allergic reaction . unilt time went on the body was saturated again ti took 5 years.

so may be a goo dholliday in a diffrent vegetation and in a very clean environnemtn would do ?
