Karla,

Please be aware of how he's reacting to it. Years ago, a doctor prescribed

Paxil for me. I took one pill and really regretted it! It felt like I had a

blistering sun burn all over and inside my body. When I told the doctor, he

switched me to a low dose of Surazone (sp?) which as it turns out is in the same

family. Afraid to take it, my husband who is skilled at cutting pills with a

knife for me, gave me a quarter tablet....30 minutes later, it was the same

feeling all over again....agony!....I would rather go through child birth

several times than ever feel that kind of pain again. During the Surazone

reaction, my husband had the idea for me to take Benadryl to calm it until it

had cleared my system. That helped....and I never took any meds from the family

of medications again.

Any way, just please be careful.

Peace be with you!---

to start on Paxil, 1/4 tablet once a day, but the paxil tablet is already like a

1/4 inch. Any advice so it doesn't crumble?

Yep. Ask the pharmacist to do it for you.
