I agree it essential to be discreet about our prescriptions, especially narcotics, and benzodiazepines. It is also very important to go to a pharmacy that is trustworthy. I know that professional thieves pay bank tellers to let them know when someone takes out large sums of cash, or mention that they are going on vacation etc. It stands to reason, that they would also pay someone who works in a pharmacy too. I would also recommend that we remove, or at least mark out any information on an empty pill bottle. Also, keep your narcotics locked up, and not in the medicine cabinet. It's too easy for anyone who is in your home to go into the bathroom, and take your medication. Several members have had medications stolen, and even with a police report, find it almost impossible to have a new prescription written by their physician. It also puts a red flag of suspicion in your chart, that makes it look like your are selling your medications. None of us need that!
