Guest guest
The suggested dosage for both your kids would be 2 scoops a day which for one would take around 2 canisters so 80 dollars a month for one or 160 for both. Nutriiveda is kind of like pediasure in that it can be used as meal replacement or to supplement a poor diet. We have tons of suggestions on how to mix nutriiveda in with food as a drink or mix it into applesauce, pudding, yogurt, oatmeal, spaghetti and meatballs, anything - or freeze it as a Popsicle, sprinkle it like powdered sugar on french toast or pancakes. Even though your child will eat with it I think you'll notice they won't be as interested in junk foods- cravings change on it to a bit healthier choices for some reason. Two important things -You don't want to cook with it or add boiling liquids to it because that could compromise the essential amino acids...don't want to do that! And also make sure your child is well hydrated -body weight X .06 is an estimate- but use common sense as there is water in all foods -even crackers. I think I go into why water is important here? http://pursuitofresearch.org/science.html But if not can explain if you want to know. Nutriiveda provides whole food nutrients, the purest form of supplementation, so you'd probably want to stop all other supplementation other than fish oils which appears to greatly compliment it (essential fatty acids and essential amino acids do work together!) and anything that your child's doctor finds medical necessary. But for example if you have a child on a ton of supplements -look into just making it simple and just using nutriiveda and fish oils instead. of course as you know you can't just stop GFCF and nutriiveda is GFCF -but I do again believe it's helping in a way above and beyond anything I've seen -including on helping the body heal both brain and gut. Here is some info to share with your child's doctor http://pursuitofresearch.org/NutriiVeda_Information.pdf It's not like you need a doctor to tell you it's OK to use Carnation Instant Breakfast or Pediasure- but just like fish oils the average person is more nervous about whole foods than fast ones. So more as a comfort to you as a parent. Just about 100 percent of doctors are approving it no matter where -and the sheet by the way is to educate those that don't know as much about whole food nutrition. Those that have a great knowledge in the area of nutrition won't need it -they can just look at the ingredient list and be impressed. Again it's formulated by world renowned medical doctors. And here is a Q and A section for more info on dosage etc. http://pursuitofresearch.org/faq.html And PS....I'm being flown out to Bill Farley's home (next door to Oprah's house as she is both his friend and neighbor !!) this Wednesday and hope to be able to share here that there is going to be research on why we are seeing what we are. Another of Bill's friends is Dr. Deepak Chopra who is behind the formulation and endorses nutriiveda. If you don't know who Bill Farley is http://www.meetbillfarley.com he's the owner of the company that makes nutriiveda that I grabbed his shoulders last I saw him (not in a mean or threatening way but if a security guard was there...I may have been in trouble haha) and said " Whatever you do you have to promise you never stop making nutriiveda! You have no idea how profound and life changing it's been for my son Tanner and so many others " And Bill said " I will not stop making it " and smiled at me. So he promised! I may not be able to share everything on this grouplist as I did before...if fact one of the doctors already asked me not to share a few things so as not to compromise research - but please know there are some huge people that are aware of what is going on -and I'm sure research will be done to validate what I'm writing. Unlike fish oils where we have to raise monies for research (but Bill Farley told me he is also a huge believer in the essential fatty acids I don't think the public will have years to be skeptical on this one as it won't be up to us as parents to have to raise the monies for research on the fact that nutriiveda rocks!!! Yay!!!! =====
Guest guest
Hello, my name is Cristine. I have been on here for a few months now. We just started the protocol for our 6yr old non verbal son. We were on the DAN protocol for over 3 years with no gains. Tried HBOT, chelation and speech & OT therapy. Non gains. Was reading about the nutriiveda on here and was very interested in it. Just want some feed back on the folks who have tried this with their kiddos that are on the spectrum. I want to see what kind of gains if any have been noted while your chldren were taking this supplement. Any info on your experience would greatly appreciated.
