Guest guest
It is so interesting how all this works. I also stopped most of my son's supplements. Actually, as we ran out, we did not replace, the first week nothing noticed, the second week and even the third week, nothing. Now, in the fourth week, my son is more with it. Still no supplements, except for multivitamins (Centrum per Dr G's instructions) and plain probiotics. My son is more spontaneous, better thinking, more in control of his emotions. We have not started Dr G's protocol yet, we just have discontinued the 25 plus supplements he was on.  This may all be a coincidence but my son looks totally more in control of his own being.  Karla From: xiao xu <xh16882003@...> Subject: After stopped all supplements..... Date: Saturday, May 29, 2010, 4:46 PM  Dear parents,   I stopped my son's all supplements excepted DMG and Zinc last Wednesday. I noticed some negative changes.  (1) I started to give him mineral oil instead enzyme and trufiber this Monday. His teacher mentioned that he becomes much more distractive and has more uncontrolled giggling this week. Even with full prompts, he can't finish writing for only one sentence that usually he did well.  (2) Since I stopped enzyme and trufiber, he ate less and less day by day. Today, he only eats 1/6 breakfast and zero lunch, which he usually was able to finish 100%. Moreover, his constipation comes back. His energy also is much lower. He also talks much less.  (3) After I took off cod liver oil five days, his teacher told me that he started to squint even with glasses (he only squinted without glasses a few time in past). Now, I notice he squints a lot especially when looks at bright or dark places.  I have heard that cod liver oil is good for kids' vision. I don't know if any relative things between the cod liver oil and his eyes.   Please share your experience. What do those reactions mean? Are they temporary just because of his body changes (off from supplements) or he really needs those supplements?  Your help will be greatly appreciated!  Xiao
