You could try a clomid or hcg stimulation test as described in the

AACE clinical guidelines to confirm a diagnosis of secondary

hypogondism. Or you could just try hcg and see if your levels improve.

To get there with your current endo would mean convincing him of 2 things:

1) that you have a deficiency

2) that hcg may be an appropriate treatment.

Since he doesn't think you have a deficiency in the first place, he is

going to refuse to treat with hcg. A person who blows you off with

the " in range " argument, probably isn't going to be up to speed on hcg

either. If you want to do this, either work with your GP or find a

different endocrinologist. Don't waste any more time or money on the

first endo.

Do you guys think HCG would do him a lot of good since he is the upper

half on the LH range? Although I'm not sure about that LH range -

seemed kind of low to me, but maybe it's a different unit of

measurment than what I'm used to seeing. Normally I've seen the range

be something like 1-10 or 1-20.

Just wondering..

Your husband's thyroid does appear to be low. Assuming the lab's

reference ranges are correct, your husband's Free T3 should be above

3.5 (top 1/4 of the range). Check your husband's temp per this

website to get a good sense of whether he has adrenal issues and

thyroid issues, or just thyroid issues.

www.stopthethyroidmadness.com. There is a good list called

naturalthyroidhormone. You might want to join there for thyroid

questions. I am still a relative newbie on this issue, but there

are tons of really well versed people over there, including adults,

who can help you out. Just know that if he treats his thyroid, he

should go with Armour thyroid. You might run a few onibasu searches

on this.

Hi ,

It doesn't matter in the least how much water you use but I strongly

recommend you use an amount that's easy to calculate with. For example,

use 10ml of water for every 10mg cap, so every 1ml of water will contain

1mg of naltrexone. Or use 100ml of water so every 10ml of water will

contain 1mg of naltrexone. If you do that and want to take 3.0mg of

naltrexone you shake the mixture and take 30ml of solution, for 4.5mg

take 45ml of solution etc.

you can take 10 ml distilled water and then draw 4.5 ml or 3 ml

according to your need

What kind of test Dr.G. recommend to find out about

Brain Inflammation and

Viruses

What kind of viruses has they found in Northern California. What kind has they

found in your kids.

Is it necessary to run the Spect scan? I feel uncomfortable in putting my kids

under, for the test

Is the SSr or Prozac are to be taken for just a short period of time or for

lifetime? Is there any other natural way?

I heard that prozac improves blood circulation to the brain. What about HBOT

(help to heal the brain) instead prozac. Does the Dr.G recommend?

Any comments are greatly appreciated

sierra.

Does anyone have the studies on SSRIs improving blood flow? My son seems to

get more tics when taking SSRIs - could this because SSRIs sometimes

interfere with magnesium?
