Valtrex healing regression?

Hi All,

Has anyone been through a healing regression phase while your child was on

Valtrex? Can you share your experience?

My son, age 6, is on week three of Valtrex..we started with 1/4 pill.

I saw some positive early signs that is working like he drawing a lot (he was

never interested in art before but since we increased the 1/2 pill dose he seems

more emotional, aggressive, hyper, started flapping a bit. Also he had some

diarrhea last night..

Is this typical? Does the diarrhea mean he his eliminating the virus? Does this

sound like a healing regression? Will this phase pass? how long?

Will his behavior improve?
