I know what I have been dealing with, with bart. and babs...but am curious of what to look out for when dealing with MYCO. That is next in line for me. Thanks in advance. Guest guest
hi jodie and jim, sounds like bart and babs alike.  could the 'breathing problems' be considered 'air hunger?'  could a person without positive testing and just a clinical dx of babs, actually have myco and not babs? barbara  I read in Rosners book about cell wall deficient lyme, is that a form of myco bacteria, or is it similar but unrelated. Guest guest
Hi Barbara, I feel most of the breathing issues we have from these diseases are labled " air hunger. " Mine is all of a sudden a take a big gulp of air, I don't have Bart nor Babs, just Lyme... My wife went through the same thing... My air hunger is greatly improved, but was very intense for 3 - 4 months. Testing for all of these diseases has it limitations and often may present with false results and yes doctors also make mistakes.. So yes, one could have a clinical dx of Babs and actually have Mycoplasma... Did you check the link on coinfection symptoms? http://www.lymeinfo.net/coinfectionarticle.html Symptoms I feel are always going to be your best guide to any coinfections... And this is what many LLMDs also use... Take care, Jim > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi all, I was wondering if someone could give " Personal " Myco > > symptoms and how they differ from bart.babs? Guest guest
HiI had mycro plasma pnemonia twice, the first time i was in the hospital for a month and seemed to recover, mind you i was in an italian hospital, in Canada they don t seem to take this serious. I also has mycroplasma urytheum, which has not systems apparently. after having a fertility test where they sprayed water in my follipian tubes i got some strange systems after that that to this day i cannot cure, it goes away with antibiotics but returns as soon as im off them i had pelvic inflamatory problems but with the postive lab results. i am imagining the fertility test pushed the mycroplasma into my uterurs and bladder. That my own ideas, the doctors dont seem to know anything and say everyting is normal. Which its not at all. i also get confused between the type of bacteris lyme is and mycro plasma they seem very similiar. I also have problems breathing air hunger but that happened years after i had the pnemonia. I also find the sensation that whatever is bothering my digestive tract has some connection to my lungs and breathing. I was wondering could the mycroplasma that may have been pushed up into my uterus be the cause of the occational inflamatins i get. Can the rife get to that. Guest guest
Hi jim,my lyme and babs test were both indeterminate and possibly.  dr thought my symptoms indicated both, plus my husband and i had bart symptoms, especially the plantars fachitis (never could spell it) foot pain which is common with it.  however, when treated with rifampin for bart, and meprone for babs, i really herxed.  also, when i coil for either, i herx.  soooo, guess i have both. my air hunger has ranged from just a 'sigh', to having trouble getting air for several minutes.  sometimes having to lay down and concentrate on slow breathing to control it.  also, there was pressure in my chest with it.  i must have a good load because i still can't get rid of it.  i just posted about different frequencies for different species as i found an old lab test that said 'possibly' b. microti.barbara  HiI had mycro plasma pnemonia twice, the first time i was in the hospital for a month and seemed to recover, mind you i was in an italian hospital, in Canada they don t seem to take this serious. Guest guest
Barb, do u know what the myco. feels like (symptoms)? I'm still working on bart. and babs but I have had a lot of virals and things like staph. come up frequently, while I'm going after the co's. That is what makes this a unique puzzle. It's bad enough dealing with the die-off but when others things " pop-up " on top of it...uggg! How are u doing and what are u working on? I have gotten " air-hunger " but not to the extent u speak of? Is that a babs or lyme symtom? Guest guest
Hi Jodie, feeling crazy as you treat and try to separate symptoms seems to be the norm!!!!!  so guess you are doing it right. my dr. thought babs was my first/worse co in the beginning because of the air hunger, cyclical pattern of symptoms, sweats and a few others.  i understand they all can give air hunger, not real sure what the difference is except maybe intensity and that cyclical pattern.  one thing i read lately is that babs can have a dry cough.  i have noticed for years this weird need to cough unproductively.  thought it allergies but i realize that this (babs)  cough feels to be more in the lungs and not the throat as allergy coughing feels.  i have never been treated for just mycos.  i've done abx 2x and both treated 'everything' and i just got sicker and sicker.  for me, it seems all my herxes just seem to intensify those 30 min. attacks i get.  they are anxiety, air hunger, heart racing/palps, nausea, sweating and chills and sometimes headaches when the heart races. also, with the abx, while treating everything, i had the neuro part, feelings of anger, rage, irritablility, brain fog, just as when i coil for bart/babs alone.  so, i have all the herx symptoms for all of them, so for me it is hard to tell the difference.  it is indeed crazy. how am i doing?: overall, i am doing better.  whether it is the reduction in benzo drug or lyme and co, i do not know, but i'll take it.  had a really hard time this last month with the benzo and realized i had been accidentally reducing too much.  i was trying to cut down a 5 mg. tablet to 1.25 and then 10% of that.  it was not accurate, so i had a few 2 mg. tablets i'd been saving for much lower doses but decided it would be easier/more accurate to use those up.  i'm going to get drops for the lower doses.  soooo, i'm holding for a few wks to stablize and don't feel as crazy.  lyme & co?:  i'v been using the mag oil foot baths at night and have been sleeping pretty good, which always helps.  but i think the mag. oil is making a difference.  also, back in march, i was going to switch to treating lyme because i was plateauing on bart/babs, so put bart and babs on 'slow' to see if that would help. i had gone on vacation, and then other things happened so didn't treat for awhile.  then i started having breaks in those 30 min. attacks i'v had since early 2000, never, ever missing one. i think what happened with that break is i cleared the toxins and before the bart/babs could regrow  i had a short window without symptoms.  then the bugs regrew, got sick, and started coiling again for them.  BUT, i'm going slower. i was glad this unexpected break happened because it kind of 'cleared the slate' so i could better see what i was dealing with, AND that there is hope.i have begun to do enemas daily with double the volume of liquid coffee in the c.e. and i think it is helping me detox.  an interesting thing also started happening with them.  after the c.e., i will get sick to my stomach, then it clears and i feel better.  i have also started having parts of my days where i don't have the attacks or they are less intense.  i was wondering if my liver is dumping a lot of 'stuff', which is the nausea. wondering if anyone else has ever experienced this? i keep thinking/hoping i will just feel better on a steady basis.  then i remember to accept each little improvement as a step forward, even if it is just a very short time.  i have been able to spend some time in my garden for short periods which is a big step forward.  even wanting to want to, is a miracle.  i am able to cook more meals and be up longer.  i'm sure the reduction in benzo is helping, but i really started seeing changes when i started the mag oil and increased the c.e. short version:  i'm doing better.  thank you.  sound like you are struggling with a mix of 'what/which' is it?  i think that is the hardest part, not knowing what is going on, so you don't know what you are dealing with, what to do next, where did this come from??  so sorry.  been there, done that, and will probably do it again. how is wyatt doing?  how is your husband handling all of this?  my husband really struggles, but he is still here.  so i'm grateful.barbara  Barb, do u know what the myco. feels like (symptoms)?
