Dear all,

My son usually was a calmer and quieter kid. However, he started to say “no,

no,

no, all down, all down†at meal time since I stopped all supplements and just

started medications two months ago. He currently is on Valtrex and Nizoral.

He currently is much more emotional when he is eating. He screams, yells, cries,

and hit his own hands during EACH meal time every day! I have checked and make

sure his diet has no change. He seems resist even hate meals. I tried to reward

him if he finished all meal without tantrum but it doesn’t helpful. This

problem

becomes more severe.

It is a “scary†time when I ask him to sit down for a meal now. It is

strange

that his tantrum only happens at meal time. He looks a different child when his

is eating breakfast, lunch and dinner. His constipation becomes more severe.

I don’t know what cause this big change. Please help!

Thank you so much!

Xiao

Hi Xiao,

Have you seen any improvements yet?  It sounds like some die-off going on,

considering the timing.  I hope it will pass soon - have you talked to the

doctor about it?

Look at severe GERD, gastric reflux. Our child realized his stomach hurt and

started to refuse food.
