We have had on & off Immunovir for most of this year & have at times seen

similar issues.

sometimes displays moments of reflux(nausea) where he is almost stopping

himself from vomiting without actually doing so.

We think this is also accompanied by stomach discomfort as well as unpleasant

gas.

His appetite also seems to vary between good & bad (completely related to how he

is feeling).

(like Shaked) has been on meds for 10 years (still with Dr G) & we do

blood work approx every 6-8 weeks (all ok).

Side effects of Immunovir

Hi,I was wondering whether anyone's kids who are taking Immunovir have been

having any side effects. Our son, Shaked has had a fair amount of stomachaches

which are helped by eating when he takes the meds.More worrying is his fairly

regular bouts of vomiting. He also has definitely had a loss of appetite and a

new fussiness to a lot of foods. I am concerned that he might be feeling

nauseaus and can't really express it.

He has in general been taking a lot of meds for 11 years now. Does anyone

think

this could be as a result of this ongoing taking of pretty powerful

medication.

Of course we do regular blood work which comes back ok , but still i fear

the effects of long-term drugs.

I have to give my son Imunovir with food or he, too, complains his tummy

hurts.
