Fetal adrenaline receptor syndrome

My son's main issues are hyperactivity and impulsivity. He is like a wind-up

toy in that he is ready to strike at the first impulse and then collapses

later in the day from exhaustion!! Has anyone in the community heard of

fetal adrenaline receptor syndrome (FARS)? I read about it in book by Dr.

Sears but it does not give any treatment or diagnosis information. If

anyone has any information pertaining to and FARS could you please send

it to me. Thank you very much!

Sorry.I don't have any info on FARS. My son is a patient of Dr. G and Tenex

has been a Godsend to help him with impulsivity and hyperactivity. The whole

protocol has been extremely helpful (diet, meds, therapies, etc.) but

for impulsivity and hyperactivity the Tenex has been the best.

Thanks Kristy! We don't have Tenex here in Canada but I have heard that

doctors can get some medicines in the country on a special request. Has

anyone got any information on that? has always done well with

Strattera for 2-3 months and then we get a real angry kid....unfortunately

it is the ONLY med that has ever made him somewhat functional (not angry,

mean spirited and hyper) even though he is very verbal and has normal, if

not above normal, IQ...
