Guest guest
Anybody know or being helped medically by Dr. G with high anxiety? My son has high, high anxiety. Everything is stress to him. He is already on SSRI for anxiety but still stress reactivated his latent EBV causing fatigue for 4 months already. Any input is appreciated. Thank you! Guest guest
Hey Lucy, Yes, Dr G can help with anxiety very much. It is definitely neuro-immune, especially severe anxiety. Is OCD present too? Have you looked into PANDAS? Is there a history of chronic bacterial infection, especially strep, mycoplasma (bronchitis) or staph? ________________________________ From: LucyT <lucy1628@...> Sent: Tue, July 27, 2010 1:03:42 PM Subject: Does Dr. G help with extreme high anxiety?  Anybody know or being helped medically by Dr. G with high anxiety? Guest guest
I'm an adult and patient of Dr. G's along with my three boys. I have EBV and chronic strep as well. I have had nearly constant anxiety since I was in my late teens. Mercifully, it has been greatly reduced, thanks to Dr. G's treatment. Getting the strep under control was the key for me (it's taken us nearly two years to from 2,000 down to 600, with 0-200 being the normal reference range). He can definitely help! Guest guest
and Robyn Your replies give me " hope " ! Thank you very much! Because of his anxiety, he only had ONE blood test (drawn in a dentist's office using Laughing Gas) which was done 4 months ago tested of EBV IGg 3,030, positive CMV, HSV 1, Micoplasma, etc. Not a complete viral test though. Today, I just got the present doctor agree to use the same method do all the tests required by Dr. G. on his website. My son has fatigue for the past 4 months - sleeps 13 to 17 hours a day. I know Dr. G can help with CFS, too. I'm hopeful. Thank you so much again! Guest guest
Robyn, How did you get the strep down? Also, question for anyone with this experience: Which SSRIs are the best for teens with HFA and pretty serious anxiety? Oddly enough, my son and I both feel much less anxious when we take Adderral, which is prescribed for focus. I also take Lexapro, 20mg. This was so helpful for my anxiety, but it deadens feeling so to speak. For example, I still brake when a car cuts me off in traffic, but I do not feel that adrenaline surge that is meant to alarm one that something is dangerous. The Adderral is not as effective as the Lexapro is on anxiety, so I was wondering if Lexapro might be an appropriate drug for my son to take. I worry about SSRIs and suicidal thinking in teenagers. He is not typically depressed, just anxious, but when he is having a bad day, he will say " kill me " as a verbal tic. Jen > > I'm an adult and patient of Dr. G's along with my three boys.
