Jim,

Thanks for putting this out there.

I had heard about the JP 's CIO losing her job, but in the midst of all the other news out there, I did not hear about her Lyme disease.

I hope this is one more thing that leads to a better understanding of Lyme disease.

I hope she gets better and has a full recovery, and I also hope that she comes out and makes some kind of statement describing what may have led to this decline in her job performance.

Keep up the good work, Jim,

Hi everyone,

I just came up on this today, the $2 billion dollar Lyme debacle..

Some of you I am sure have heard about JP 's bad in house trades recently

costing this investment bank $2 billion in losses...

Ina Drew, Chief Investment Officer (CIO), was a well known and well liked person

on Wall Street with an attractive investment history... She was also well paid, about

$15 million yearly and apparently well worth it... Then in 2010, she contracted Lyme

disease.

I am sure everyone reading this recalls what happened to their own bodies when we

first contracted Lyme, now imagine you have a huge investment portfolio to manage and

now wonder if you think you could still manage it effectively...

Apparently this was not so easy and the investment department Ina Drew was in

charge of just recently lost $2 billion on a bad bet.. This coming from a woman with

an impeccable investment history until she contracted Lyme... And she lost her job

over this needless to day..

Here is the full story....

http://www.ibtimes.com/articles/343165/20120520/jpmorgan-chase-lyme-disease-jpm-jamie-dimon.htm

So the next time you are having a tough day, just think back to this story.. I can't imagine what

it must have been like once JPM realized this HUGE loss... I've been watching the headlines

and they rightfully have not been kind...

Good person, bad disease, bad outcome.

Take care,

Jim

Hi ,I hate to say it, but in this age of compassion-deficient corporations, it may simply make bosses leery of Lymies, just like they used to be with AIDS people: probably worse, because, Hey! infection is a scary roulette, but something threatening the bottom line? Utterly intolerable! And don't you know, Lyme, like poverty and foreclosure, always happens to other people: not we, the 1%. Be well: not cynical like I am tonight.Léna Jim, Thanks for putting this out there. You may be right Lena,

In the corporate world, all they care about is how good your work is...

I can understand how this person's mind changed with Lyme and

who knows, maybe this was the reason she was dismissed.. I am

sure someone's head had to roll and her boss, Dimon, CEO

wasn't about to lose his even though he was warned the portfolio

was in trouble by some underlings and he did nothing as he felt

Ms. Drew had it all under control..

It is also important to note that Ms. Drew was highly liked by her

peers and was considered a wonderful mentor to other woman

on Wall Street.. She definitely was not just a " suit " as many on

Wall Street are portrayed as being..

Hi Marie,

I shed no tears for the bank either...

What makes me mad is they took some of the TARP money and now we see

they continue to make risky investments...

The TARP money is all the taxes we pay into the system, gambling like this

may make them vulnerable again some day and they will come back asking

for more TARP money...

Banks that gamble and lose should be allowed to close, the stronger and smarter

banks will gladly take their customers..

I just hope this woman heals from Lyme one day...

Take care,

Jim

HI JIm,

I hope she will as well needles to say .

I am suspicious about any fiancial power teh mo repowerful the more suspect to me . I read somewhere that hight financial elite is organising to ruin all the rich and adbanced country in order to get people so unsecure that their would be riots in the street so citizen would as k for a totalitary governement and they would not have to establihe their power by force but democratively . One of the ways being pimplemented by slavering people throught personnal and national debth . I see it happening in th emost powerfull country of theworld in USA in an other rich and powerful country France. I tis supposed to be done throught secret society like maconnic and others of this kind according to what I read. I am not far to beleive so as I see too much smok coming out meanse there might be a secret hidden fire tomake such a smoke.
