Guest guest
And a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you too Pierre. I am sure I speak for everyone one I say a huge thank you for your input to the group, which after all, without your direction and dedication would not be what it is today. On a personal note, it is fantastic for me in that I have found a very good friend out of it too! So fellow members, have a good one, put your worries aside for one day, and just have a good time, and truly wonderful New Year. Thank you all for sharing your experiences, and for making the group such a success. I too will be around over the holidays, so anyone wishing to post, please feel free. Love to you all. Assistant Friendly Moderator. Happy Holidays Before everyone runs off for the holidays, let me take this opportunity to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New year. You have been a terrific group to work with, so, I hope Santa puts an extra star next to your names on his list this year. Eat, drink, be merry, and stay safe. Your friendly neighbourhood moderator, Pierre P.S. I will be around throughout the holidays, and I'm sure many other members will also, so, we remain open for business : )
Guest guest
Merry Whatever Holiday You Celebrate, and I wish good health and happiness to everyone throughout the New Year! May God be with our men and women in uniform this Christmas too. I pray safe return for them all, and that God blesses their families this holiday season as well. Guest guest
Hi Pierre, How are you? Haven't been here for ages. You may remember who we are. Annette has just had her 1/2 year checkup and creatinine was 160 and Neph is very pleased. She was 200 in 1998 so things are stable. Her Ophtho's and Neuro's are also happy with the stent in her brain (right sigmoid sinus) and her CSF pressure is in normal range, but her eyesight will never return. This was caused by PTC as you may recall. They all said " the good news is that there are no signs of further deterioration " All the best for X/mas and new year and let's hope there are some reallistic solutions for the current troubles. Kind regards Sommer Millicent South Australia

Guest guest
Hi . Long time no see. Yes, I remember well. Glad to hear things are going well for Annette, all things considered. As we say in French in Canada when someone wishes us a Merry X-mas: Pareillement! Means, same to you. And yes, let's hope it's a peaceful new year. Keep in touch. Guest guest
Thanks Pierre. I'm getting really nostalgic for last year around this time. That's when I had my biopsy and got my diagnosis. It seems onger than a year ago. I remember spending 10 hours straight on the internet trying to find some information about my prognosis. Thankfully, after many more hours of searching the web, I found this site. Thanks for keeping it going.
Guest guest
All those hours of research only to find out they can't do anything about it eh? Time sure flies though. Thanks for the kind words. As I've said before, we all keep the group going together, otherwise, I'd be writing to myself : ) Nice to hear from you. Pierre Re: Happy Holidays > Thanks Pierre. Guest guest
You are absolutely right. Thanks for everyone for sharing their stories. I recently read my yearly horoscope in a woman's magazine, it said next year a mysterious illness I was battling would disappear! What's more mysterious than IGa. Sorry, if you're not Pisces! Guest guest
It will be a year tomorrow, December 23, that our son, , was admitted to the hospital very ill with failing kidneys, high fever, and generally very ill. This year, he is in remission. When life seems very dark, there really is a light at the end of the tunnel. This happens over and over throughout our lives. Life is a series of small and sometimes large successes interspersed with a lot of pain and hard times. Guest guest
Thanks, Pierre. I too wish everyone a Merry Christmas, and all the best for the new year. I'll be around as well over the holidays, as I have a break until I start my job in early February, so I'll certainly be posting when I can. > Before everyone runs off for the holidays, let me take this opportunity to > wish all of you a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New year. > > You have been a terrific group to work with, so, I hope Santa puts an extra > star next to your names on his list this year. > > Eat, drink, be merry, and stay safe. > > Your friendly neighbourhood moderator, > Pierre > > P.S.
