Very few of the things I take actually help me feel better, that I can notice.

But if they don't make me feel worse and the test well (with kinesiology & /or

the pendulum), I trust that they probably are helpful and I keep taking them.

There are a few things that I know i just cannot function without. Some things

take a long time to build up in your system, so the difference is very gradual,

and then you're not sure why you feel better. I think everything I take makes a

difference, but it has taken a very long time to notice that I am really doing

much better--years in fact, although I still have a ways to go.

hoping, praying that something will really make a difference.

For me, at least a month is the minimum time of trial. Some things have to build up in the body before their effect is observed.(or major damage has to be repaired) I used to jump from one thing to another, or try a small amount without effect, and not experiment with slowly-increased dosage. An example: I've taken Milk Thistle for liver support. One cap a day. Didn't notice anything. I dropped it. Someone mentioned that psoriasis can be a manifestation of an overburdened liver and MT can be a very effective support, but needs to be used more liberally.I began to take 1, 3x a day and in less than a month my psoriasis began to recede after years of stubbornly expanding. My liver is obviously appreciating the support. I just wasn't using enough. On the other hand, I ramped up to 4 MTs a day and had uncharacteristic headaches (a side effect mentioned) so dropped back to 3. Supplements need to be observed carefully, ramped up slowly, and initiated one at a time or you'll get into a hopeless confusion of cause and effect. Also what doesn't work now may be helpful later, as our issues shift over time, as well as the body's ability to utilize some of these. It's all about patience and paying close attention.Be well,Léna

Hi Fifi,

I will usually give something 3 months if I feel it is important enough...

Keep in mind, many supps we take and may not notice the benefit initially,

but they are healthy for the body no matter what... Astaxathin is a prime

example, this is one of the best and most powerful antioxidants, I don't

feel it doing anything to me, but the literature says it is very healthy for

my body, so I just keep taking it day after day!!

Take care

Thanks, folks, for the good reminders. Sometimes I don't trust my muscle

testing when I'm so sick, but you're are right, that often there's " foundation "

good that doesn't necessarily manifest in bouncing energetically out of bed.

Just once, though, I wish something I tried would be a " magic bullet " for some

aspect of this illness. So frustrated reading all of these stories of people

feeling FABULOUS after doing " X " and wonder why there's no " x " for me.

Thank you.

Best regards,

Fifi

Hi Fifi,

I think we all kiss a lot of frogs along the way before we find things that help

us...

I find that sticking with good things that make good sense are the best

options...

Hang in there,

Jim
