Guest guest Posted September 6, 2010 Report Share Posted September 6, 2010 My son is 13 and weighs 85 lbs. He is on Famvir 1 1/4 tablets 3X/day Marilyn Famvir doseage? My son is 13 yrs old and weighs 150 pounds. What is the doseage of famvir that DR G recommends? I have tried my son on valtrex several times (with diflucan on board and he becomes violent). He regressed after his chicken pox vaccine and he does get rashes from the valtrex so he does need an anti viral for herpes. He is also on Imunovir and does well with that.
