Guest guest
Any tips on how you got your son to swallow the pills in the beginning? ________________________________ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Kristy Nardini Sent: Thursday, July 29, 2010 11:22 AM Subject: [bULK] RE: Re: New to the group Importance: Low I put swallowing pills right up there with potty training in my list of priorities. It didn't take long for my 3 year old son to learn how to swallow pills when we started with Dr. G and it made everyone's life MUCH easier. So, yes... it s not a problem for him, but maybe you could crush them and put them in a drink. > > > > > > Hello, We are new to the group. Guest guest
We practiced with fruit flavored tic tacs. I showed him how I did it, his twin sister also demonstrated, then I gave him a try. He kept trying to chew them. So then I cradled him in my lap, and had a medicine syringe with water. I put the tic tac in his mouth, then squirted in a little bit of water so he kind of had to swallow. I was so excited when he did it, then he got excited and showed me over and over he could do it. There is also a special kind of medicine cup you can buy, where the pills go in a little cup on the top and water (or juice) goes in the bottom and they sort of drink both the pills and the liquid at the same time. I’m not sure what it’s called but you can order it online. We did not use it. Kristy Nardini TazziniTM Stainless Steel Bottles <http://www.tazzini.com/> http://www.tazzini.com kristy@...
