Guest guest
Hello group members, I wish to express my great appreciation for ACT. Although I learned about it recently, I have found that whenever I practice Acceptance, Cognitive defusion, and Valued action, it works very well. My heartfelt thanks to Professor . Guest guest
Thanks but really ACT is a community effort, and not just professionals either. Many, many classic ACT methods were invented by clients. I still remember the momentone of my clients described the tug of war with the monster metaphor as a way of expressing how she'd been changed by ACT, for example. That has been repeated dozens of timesIf you hang around this list serve you will see what I mean. There is a lot of hard won wisdom hereI look forward to what you find- S C.
