Guest guest
I really hear what you're saying, Detlef, about wanting (needing back then as a preteen) to be really cared for.For me the song that comes to mind is Jewel's 'Foolish Games' and the different context is that, to me, it's about my father. Some of the lyrics are: 'These foolish games are tearing me apart and your thoughtless words are breaking my heart' and also 'Well in case you failed to notice, in case you failed to see, this is my heart bleeding before you, this is me down on my knees' makes me cry every time, including now. I think it's also because she packed so much emotion into that song, it really helps me feel that's what it must have been like, how much I wanted my dad to really notice me and not say stupid, hurtful things. For a while it seemed to be on regularly at a certain supermarket, so I went somewhere else.thanks for the question. & feature=list_other & playnext=1 & list=AL94UKMTqg-9B93J71qTBaHLxXGRojxA9c 'It's just a step to the right....put your hands on your hips and bring your knees in tight'
