Guest guest
Yes, I can relate too. Our phone conversations are mum talking 95% of the time about her. And about stuff that I'm really not interested in. And because I don't want to tell her anything meaningful about me, my 5% of phone conversation time I talk about the weather. I'm starting to get sick of the phone " conversation " thing. I think - when is it my turn to speak?
Guest guest
I'm in the same situation - I can count on Nada to say these things at least 5 times in each phone conversation: " You have NO idea what I've been going through " " I've never been treated this way in my life by anyone " " I've never been this ______ (sad, lonely, upset, whatever " " If you'd just pray harder, things will work out " And my favorite: " I am never speaking to (insert friend name here) again " " > > Yes, I can relate too.
