Are implants as bad as root canals? I have had one root canal for about 18

months now, and would like the tooth to be pulled after all that I'm reading,

but fear the resulting jaw erosion that would be inevitable without something to

replace it.

For the reasons I explained--bone erosion. Just want to know if implants carry

the same risks as root canals.

Just watched the Mercola video in which he advised against metal implants.

HOwever, I know that zirconium ones are available. Wonder if they are a problem

too?

Hi Sue,

According to Dr. Mercola, dental implants are not a good option because of the

metal

involved... I've heard of this before from others also...

His advice in this video is really very good advice...

Now they do dentla implant without any metal providing you ask for ti as it is mor eexpensive I guess
