Guest guest
Hi,I just wanted to express my gratitude for this list and the accessibility of the professionals. I think it's great that there is this list and that many of the researchers and authors are also on this list and contribute some to the discussion. And so I just wanted to say thank you to all of you - , , Russ and others.I also noticed at the end of 's emails there is a great list of other resources - the contexual psychology website, a couple of blogs and a couple of list for professional and students. I often come to this list looking because I get the emails in my inbox and so it's at the front of my mind. But I think this other resources may be more helpful for me. Since I'm not a professional or student I don't think the other list are for me. And also I have many of the ACT books. I'm 37% through Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, second edition and that is a great resource. I highly recommend this book for any of you more nerdy types (like me) who want to delve deeper into ACT. And it's much more accessible than the first edition, I like to add. I take a lot of ACT/FC/RFT along with lots of things from REBT/CBT, evolutionary psychology, positive psychology, and some of my philosophical readings and sort of build my own " therapy " or my own philosophy for living a good life. So all these ACT/FC/RFT resources make the it lot easier for me. So again thanks for this list and all the other great resources - blogs, web pages, books, etc.Cheers!
