So far, up to 12 drops in 2 divided doses. Apart from mainstream medicine, there seems to be a lot of concern from alternative practitioners, mainly about the oxidative stress that it could provoke and the effect it has on T4 and T3 levels. I don't know if it directly inactivates thyroid hormones, or competes with iodine (another halide) so that thyroid levels fall. If the latter, then perhaps taking iodine would help. For the oxidative stress, could one take antioxidants overnight? All the research seems to have been from around 2007, which I guess was before the ban, so don't know if there have been more recent research that contradicts earlier studies. One doctor talks of using the product intermittently to allow the body to recover on off days. That might give the bugs a chance to recover too, though. Can someone help me out with these issues?
