Guest guest
Dr G advised me to wait on the vaccines for my youngest (my oldest had already had them). There was a point, though, that his bloodwork looked good, and he said that this would be the best time to get them. I passed on it and he did not push the issue. He doesn't MAKE you do it. But he was there when measles and other horrible illnesses were common. He also was there when there were much stricter requirements in when the child should get one. Dr G has vaccinated all his children in his practice for years and years, even before the autism epidemic, and has never had a child under his care from birth develop autism. His first two patients to come with him with autism, he didn't even know what it was. He just saw some very sick kids. Anyway, his standards for vaccination are much higher than typical. He reviews family history, and if the child does not appear absolutely perfectly healthy, or has skin rashes, or dark circles under their eyes, or recent ear infection, or any chronic infections, he does a very different modified schedule, gives them at different time (not a bacterial and viral in the same month), etc etc etc. He is the ONLY person I would trust to say " Ok - it would be perfectly safe right now - based on what your child's immune system looks like - to get this shot today. "  Still, I wasn't able to, and he didn't push. Now I'm not so sure I want to use Nids if they are going to make me vaccinate them. I can't believe that! If my kids had remained unvaccinated, I wouldn't be on this list! I'm just beside myself! Guest guest
Thank you for posting this. I hope it helps to clarify all the misunderstandings parents in this list may have. This is very good, comforting information. > Dr G wanted to give MMR booster to my healthy , normally developing son who had >a MMR reaction at 1yr and proceeded to lose all language and eye contact.
