Guest guest
Dr G wanted to give MMR booster to my healthy , normally developing son who had a MMR reaction at 1yr and proceeded to lose all language and eye contact. We settled on titer test and found it to be off the chart high. Indicative of the findings of vaccine strain in cerebral, spinal fluid and gut - where it's not supposed to be. We used a HIGH VITAMIN A PROTOCOL that took 48 hrs and cost under $20 and had eye contact and amazing cognitive leaps within a week or two. (never did get MMR booster or any other vaccines) YMMV > > I was wondering if anyone has had their kiddos on Amantadine for RNA viruses? I was thinking it might help with the measles virus. Guest guest
Ok, Dr. G wanted to give vaccines????? Now I'm not so sure I want to use Nids if they are going to make me vaccinate them. I can't believe that! If my kids had remained unvaccinated, I wouldn't be on this list! I'm just beside myself! Guest guest
Btw, we have done the high dose vitamin a protocol twice and it helped, but didn't eliminate the mmr virus. Guest guest
I would love some information about the high dose vitamin A protocol as well. Our son tested low in vitamin A last October and our local neurologist called to tell us to supplement immediately. However Dr. G did not want us to give him supplements other than the Polyvisol infant vitamin drops. He says that supplementing the vitamin A could do more harm than good. HMMMM . .. . Thoughts and opinions needed. Who can advise about the protocol? Thanks, Martha On Mon, Dec 20, 2010 at 4:24 PM, Rhonda Masengale <rhondamasengale@... > wrote: > > > Btw, we have done the high dose vitamin a protocol twice and it helped, but > didn't eliminate the mmr virus. > > Rhonda Masengale > > On Dec 20, 2010, at 11:40 AM, " rwb000 " <snccla@...<snccla%40gmail.com>> > wrote: > > > Dr G wanted to give MMR booster to my healthy , normally developing son > who had a MMR reaction at 1yr and proceeded to lose all language and eye > contact. Guest guest
I have heard of some people doing the high dose Vit A for two days and then staying on a maintenance dose of between 5,000 to 25,000 IU's per day. > Dr G wanted to give MMR booster to my healthy , normally developing son who had a MMR reaction at 1yr and proceeded to lose all language and eye contact. Guest guest
Once worked for us. Some require twice and a few I have read about more. Did you follow with maintenance dose? Have you tested for Vit A levels? DanasView.net mentions some kids with low absorption rates that require more treatments. But the improvements are amazing when virus cleared up. Ridding that virus will probably yield major results since it's so persistent. WAKE FOREST UNIVERSITY recently confirmed vaccine strain of Measles Virus in cerebral, spinal fluid and gut of huge percentage of kids with autism. > > > > > > I was wondering if anyone has had their kiddos on Amantadine for RNA viruses? Guest guest
Dr G refused to see my child if we did not vaccinate, in spite of my protests about a vaccine reaction being the reason he was in this predicament to begin with. We settled on a titer test, which should have been negative but surprisingly, was off the charts high. He relented on the vaccine, but left soon thereafter. (Search the archives for more details on our situation.) We felt the combinations of drugs had never been tested, especially in kids and did not want to be the guinea pig in a clinical trial. This is not to bash Dr G as many of his followers seeing results are adamant. I applaud your results and whatever works for you. We felt the drugs were masking the symptoms and not creating a cure. We asked about all the cured kids, which if you extrapolate the number of kids seen per hour per day per month, there should be a ton of cures. I've seen less than 10 and none totally off prescription medication. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I have seen spontaneous recoveries from parents doing absolutely nothing. But I have seen hundreds improve and lose diagnosis using GFCF diet, High Vit A to reverse MMR damage and AC Chelation to reverse mercury poisoning. Allergies are disappearing. Chronic conditions fade away. Behaviour calms and normalizes. ATEC's plummet...all without drugs. There are over 27,000 parent treatment ratings on Autism Research Institute website. Compare your results with theirs. See what works best for most kids with least side effects. Add your input. Test your kids (and improvements) with the ATEC (Autism Treatment Evaluation Checklist) on the same site. Of course this is not the panacea for all our kids but it is curing mine with almost no chance of harming him more. I hope everyone finds something that works for their situation. > > > > > > > > I was wondering if anyone has had their kiddos on Amantadine for RNA viruses? Guest guest
, You made an excellent point. No one can make us do anything we don't think is right for our children. Sometimes we forget we are the ones in charge of our children's care. That helps with some of the scary decisions like starting an SSRI. I remember freaking out when Dr. G first suggested it. That was when he said if your child had diabetes, would you give him insulin? Then he went on to say you can always stop it. That made sense to me. And that SSRI brought amazing changes for . I hate to admit it but Dr. G was right and I was wrong about it. But I was right about getting his tonsils out and the rehabilitation program we used. Guest guest
Hi , yes, I know I am the decision maker but I just can't see a doc working with kids that are immune-deficient recommending more vaccines for them, especially the MMR, it seems to be THE one that *most* feel got us here in the first place. I wonder what his reasoning behind this is. Plus, I've been hearing how rude he is when someone doesn't agree with him and I would not want to get yelled at for refusing to give my child vaccs he recommended. I'm still dumbfounded he would recommend vaccs, to immune-deficient kids! And from what I've been reading, if I refuse, I can expect a great tongue lashing. Has anyone on this board given their vaccine-injured children more vaccs at a nids Doc request? > > > > > > > > I was wondering if anyone has had their kiddos on Amantadine for RNA viruses? Guest guest
I would not agree that Dr G recommends vaccines. I have spoken with him at length and my experience is that he will recommend certain vaccines that he feels the catching the illness out weights the potential harm from the vaccine and only when the child's health is at a point he feels there will not be a reaction. In other words he will not vaccinate a sick child and only if in a situation like Meningitis or pneumonia entering high school. Additionally I told him I just did not trust the entire program and he never brought it up again. Guest guest
I am thinking of trying it again with beta carotene vs. Using palmitate. I used that the last 2 times. I'll try again after the holidays. Thanks for the info. I didn't know I might have to try more than once to rid the measles virus with Vit. A. Guest guest
Pretty much every group out there has its leader, followers, believers, and many lists believe their way is the only way. And in some cases get nasty if you don't agree. Autism_Mercury-Andy Cutler chelation, -Goldberg, NeuroSensory Center-, Yasko, chelatingkids2-DAN, reversingautism, lyme, vitaminK, Houston Homeopathy, and many more. Truly I'm glad you had results with frequent low-dose chelation and wish you the best. > > > > > > > > > > I was wondering if anyone has had their kiddos on Amantadine for RNA viruses?
