Robyn--I have high EBV and took to my VA Doctor and she gave me the test back

like it was nothing--what antivirals are you on--thanks????

I am on acyclovir. It's five times a day but it is the only antiviral I've tried

that has made a sent in my viral counts.

Did any clinical symptoms get better with Acyclovir?

We have not been tested but maybe should.

To be honest, it's hard for me to tell. I have high titers for HHV6 and EBV

along with chronically high titers for strep. As my numbers have come down for

all three, I've noticed an improvement in clinical symptoms. Anxiety, OCD like

symptoms, etc., I attribute to strep; I know when OCD type behaviors surface,

that number has gone up. Fatigue has improved immensely with antivirals.

Unfortunately, that's a pretty common reaction.Why even bother testing for it if

you have no plans to treat a positive result? It's really backwards. I have been

on several different antivirals and am now on acyclovir. I have had my numbers

consistently go down on it.
