Guest guest
There really is no normal. It's just a part of the big picture of where the immune system's at. Ours were totally negative, and yet dr G called my oldest a classic HHV6 based on his history and labs, even w/a zero/negative titer. When his HHV6 showed up positive the first time, it was right after this really cool change in already good eye contact, so then we rechecked it and sure enough - the immune system had found it. Sometimes they're 1:400, 1:2000 (that's pretty bad news), you just can't know and it won't often change treatment. There's not much to 'break down' about it. Hope that helps. Cythia ________________________________ From: hmskwlr <angeliquealliman@...> Sent: Sat, December 11, 2010 10:49:22 AM Subject: First Lab Test for HHv6  Hello I just got back my son first lab for Hhv6. I was hoping someone would be able to help me understand. It's a LabCorp test HHV6 IgG: Result 4.05 flagged HIgh. Reference range is >1.10 for positive. Is this a normal high for kids on the spectrum? Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. Thank you Angelique
