Guest guest
We haven't used generic Valtrex (I don't think it was available back when we were on it), but we use generics on everything else (except my synthroid) and as far as I know have no problems. I'd certainly try before I laid out that kind of money. We have to budget - we'll be at this for quite a while. ________________________________ From: Archana Dhurka <adhurka@...> Sent: Fri, December 10, 2010 3:40:02 PM Subject: Generic- Valtrex  Has anyone used the generic form of Valtrex? Any reactions or anything I should watch out for. Our insurance is not paying for the brand name so I was wondering.. Please let me know. Thanks, Arch
Guest guest
We are using the generic. It is much cheaper. Our insurance was covering Valtrex, but there was a $100/month co-pay on it, now it is about $40 co-pay for the generic. I haven't seen any difference in switching.
