Guest guest
I bought the Doug Coil from Levy. He provides really really detailed instructions (for the lyme brain) with the machine plus great customer service. I usually set my machine at 13 amps because the coil will last longer. He does not require this. I asked him about it and he said 15 max but lower is fine. However that does weaken the power somewhat. Some of what you said Tara are apparently not concerns with my machine. I turn the amps fairly slow but definitely not 8 secs of time to do it ( says VERY slowly but I think I go faster than VERY). My gain knobs are always full on position as instructed by in his operating manual. So I do think they are slightly different. Or maybe it is just preference by the maker of the machines. I assume everything is running properly. Nothing has exploded yet. It did by accident turn up my amps before setting the capacitor switches and my gain knobs went crazy. It took me a little while to realize what I had done and I freaked out thinking the machine broke. I don't think there was any damage but I never did that again. Guest guest
Hi Suzan, I am sorry to hear you are having concerned again after getting otu of trouble once . I guess waiting to get you coil in roder you do MMS or anythign that has owrked for you in the past . I do MMS by day and silver at night it works pretty well. Hoping you ankle will get better soon if it is an bad twist may be some sutain from othopedic tools just for while you walk may allow a better healing ? I wil try soon the bee venon protocol after seing excellent results from the be venon ointment venex. It makes me think that the complete protocol may be worth a try . dcT K says it melk th epsyrothech and biofilm on contact I believe it does as the day after I put a little bit of venex on my neck vein I think much more clearly . Providing one is not allergic to bee venon it is supposed to work for good with no adaptation fo teh lyme in any way neither cyst nothing . I am slow to adjust my ample know and have done everything as directed. I ran the coil for two years and was amazed at how much better I had felt. In fact I thought I was past Lyme. About 8 months ago my coil machine started acting erattic. I would turn up the ample knob and it would just scan numbers and never settle on any given number. I could still hear the pitch hum, but couldn't get it to work right. I quit using the machine and found that slowly over time I was getting kind of achy again. I fell on the ice on my driveway and twisted my ankle and it just doesn't seem to heal. I finally tried replacing the battery in my multimeter and that did not help, so I called and he said that he thinks my potentiometers went out in my amp. I replaced the fuses in the amp and one channel would show yellow and the other would show red even though the gain knobs were totally turned down. Anyway, I live in Anchorage and no one works on the QSC amplifier here, so I ordered the parts and the service manual and my husband and I are going to attempt to change out the potentiometers ourselves in hopes that this will solve the problem. If it doesn't then I will have to send my amp to Seattle and shipping is very expensie because it is so heavy. My point is, even though you take good care of your amps, it is best to baby them as much as possible, because they are costly to replace.>> I bought the Doug Coil from Levy. Guest guest
Hi ,So sorry to hear of the back-step in your Lyme Two-step! That's so frustrating! I'm having one too at the moment and it puts our progress in perspective; that chronic Lyme is an on-going, life-time career, and though we may get it down to a comfortable part-time pursuit, it's not something we can ever completely walk away from. I hope you get back into the two-steps-forward momentum soon and that the end of school brings you some much-needed respite. Take care.Be well,Léna I have turned on all switches before powering up and I keep everything below 13. I am slow to adjust my ample know and have done everything as directed. Guest guest
HI Suzan , Wha ta good idea you had with your son ! I love aviation what Air Cargo company is he the head of IT department please ? KIndly Marie To: Lyme_and_Rife Sent: Sunday, June 17, 2012 2:54 PMSubject: Caution about youtube video in Re: rife vs. coil vs. B Hi Jim,Unfortunately, the electronics repairmen in Anchorage, did not want to work on the amp since they were not an authorized repair place. I would think they would want to make the money, but I am glad I have a husband and son who are very good with this kind of thing. Otherwise, I would have spent a bundle sending it out. I have taken the top off of the amplifier a few times to replace the fuses, but doing this repair was a lot more tricky as we had to literally unscrew the fan and parts off of the circuit board in order to get to the potentiometers which rather then just plugged in was soldered onto the circuit board. It is funny, when my son was a little boy, I would go to the Salvation Army and buy old broken VCRs and Amplifiers and give him a screw driver and pliers and for a few bucks that would keep him entertained for days. I guess not buying him the usual toys might have paid off as he now builds computers and has fixed my VCRs and CD players for me and is the head of the IT department at an Air Cargo company.> > > >> > > > I bought the Doug Coil from Levy.
