Hi, Everyone,

Im just home from weekend away and not up to date on my forum reading.

I did get a private e-mail from Velma letting me know that the May 17 program

I told you all about is local to the Philadelphia area! I'm soooo sorry! I

did NOT know this! Hopefully it will be on line after it airs on TV. I will

opass on any information I can about this. Again - so sorry!

Jackie,

I realized this but one thing we need to be aware of

is that this station archives their programs and you

are able to watch the shows online after they are

shown on TV. I put an announcement into the calendar

to remind everyone to check out the online version of

the show.

So again - thanks for letting us know.

This is a wonderful new day of liberation for LPA.

Not to mention an end to " Mattssulini. "

In all seriousness I will do what ever I can to help.

Maybe Irene Yuan and I can put together a flyer or mailer that will sell the

candidates.

Congrats! I haven't lost as much as you, but it's still a great success:)

I had my surgery 9 months ago today and have lost 120 lbs. I started off at 363

and am now 243.

I have my life back!! I can't wait to get under that 200 mark that I haven't

seen in over 30 years.

I wanted to tell you all that I love being group owner. I know that Pam had to leave to take care of herself. In fact Pam almost died recently. She has ulcerated colitis and almost bled to death before getting herself to the hospital. She then spent five days in the hospital, included New Years Eve, until they got the hemorrhaging under control. Pam has much to figure out. Please pray for her. She needs support for her physical and her spirit.

As your group owner I have a lot of desire for this group to grow and expand so we can help many more people. To do that I wanted a co-owner-owner to help with my vision. I have asked Carlene to be co-owner with me. She is kind, smart, full of possibility about life, empathetic,a research queen, spiritual, accepting, supportive, lovable and a loyal friend. I am proud to have her as a partner. If I am absent for awhile please look to her. She will always be there for you.

Love you everyone,

Sue

Sue - I think you are a wonderfully supportive group owner. Full of

kindness, caring, compassion, and uncommon devotion to the well-being of

others. You are a fountain of open-hearted wisdom, and have experience

in so many areas of life. I know you have spent thousand's of hours in

posting letters of encouragement, guidance, and advice for the benefit

of others. Even offline you continue to spread your spiritual love and

concerns for those lucky enough to benefit from your enlightened gifts.

Thank you for asking me to be your co-owner. To align myself with you

and your forward-thinking vision is a pleasure. A vision which happily

we share in every detail. I appreciate your kind, supportive, and

uplifting words and hope to live up to them fully. I am proud to be your

partner, and support you, and our member-friends in the best ways I know

possible.

To all of you...you all support me in ways you cannot imagine. I love

knowing that each of us encourages, and supports the others' in life's

challenges and joys. That our heart's all tick to the same clock of

daily concerns for each other. That together we may grow healthier, and

wealthier for knowing each other. Much love to everyone. Sue, your

health concerns are in our thoughts and prayers. Hopefully, you will

know more soon and can begin relevant treatment. In the meantime...the

capable gang, and I, will hold the fort!

Love & hugs to all

Carlene

Below is the latest bulletin posted on the ME/CFS Worldwide Alliance Facebook

Causes page:

" Vote on ads within 48 hours

Posted by Tina Marie Tidmore at 3:00pm

After getting feedback from Washington Post on how we can say our message and

still get the cheaper charity rate, three ads have been submitted for final

vote. We are waiting on one more. We expect to be able to present these to the

patient community for a vote within the next 48 hours. We are also waiting for

the website change in servers to be complete, which should be by Monday evening.

A poll of some of the advisors working behind the scenes has determined that

seven days is a good time to allow for patient voting.

We have two websites as backups if the mcwpa.org hosting server changes are not

complete.

We will show pdfs and then will direct you to a survey where you will choose

your favorite.

On another note, Sita and others are working now to fine-tune the press release.

They are asking for more donations so that they can get the press release to

more news wire agencies. They want US, UK and Brussels, which we have been told

will get us into much of rest of Europe. Reminder, the first $1,000 donated to

this part of the campaign will be matched. Donate here:

http://apps.facebook.com/causes/?m=ed...

Referrals. We have a list of people we plan to refer news media to when they

call. This last week, we have been contacting these individuals to ask if we can

have a short-notice phone number and e-mail address. We include some who can

tell the history, clinicians, researchers, pediatric cases, patients (including

men), experts and patients that can show it is fatal, oversees patients. So, we

welcome any patient offering to do news media interviews. You will have to be ok

with name (full), face, illness story being public. You will have to tell us

your short-notice phone number, e-mail address and what city and state you live

in, or what country you live in.

After website server change is complete, we will be adding more content to the

website.

The " Time for Action " team, Bob and Charlotte, are working to take this ad and

turn it into direct political pressure. The ads will be designed to get a news

reporter to do a story which then puts pressure on politicians. It makes them

accountable to the public at large. But, a more direct approach will be

included. This may include e-mails, mailing copies of the ad to congressmen or

other efforts. This is in discussion now. We hope to bring you more info on this

soon.

is working on getting products with the ME/CFS logo and a slogan. She is

looking at setting up a store account through Zazzle. Look for more information

on this soon.

"What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the Master calls the butterfly"

,

Congratulations on your own pathway to health and transformation to a Healer in the world!

Just as the caterpillar must use the struggle of emerging from it's cocoon to strengthen it's wings enough for flight, the struggle on your journey to health has strengthened you and uplifted those with which you have shared your journey.

May this next part of your journey be filled with joy, continued good health and a successful practice.

Even though there is the "nor! mal" path I took a different one. I wanted to recognize that there is not one cookie cutter solution to our health issues. The second is based on my faith. 9:1-12 where Jesus healed the blind man with mud. He placed the mud on his eyes and told him to go and wash it off. On my journey I was frustrated by those who had been healed instantly of their cancers (my DO being one of them) and I had not be even after much prayer, anointing of oils and the regular treatment. Then my pastor pointed out this story where the man had to take action to heal. That was his "path". For me this was my path as well. IIN offers a discount when you find a friend or family member to

sign up for the same course. The next class starts March 7th. I

suggest you become a subscriber to their website. That's how I

learned about the tuition buddy discount. I'm subscribed to the off

topic list if you want to continue a conversation there.

As a subscriber, IIN sends me information every so often. I never saw it listed and never spoke to the individual who handles tuition. I did speak to an advisor, but she wasn't able to tell me very much about how they work the payment arrangements. Tuition has been the only thing holding me back from starting. I would love it!

I will write the off topic list if I have any other questions.

Thanks Jana!
