I really think this is a toss up. Amber colored wide mouth jars are very

nice to store ones herbs in. However, herbs stored in plastic and kept

out of heat and light will last just as long. If you can get bottles

great. Save all you mustard, mayo, etc. bottles and use those. Just make

sure you label and date them. Otherwise, you gotta go with what you got.

Best is to keep them in the dark, dry and cool.

Glass is better than plastic... If in plastic.. heavy duty... keep in the dark (even glass) ... last longer (I think) in the freezer... Take as much air out of bags as you can... the freezer bags are better if plastic.
