Guest guest
It's been a while since I posted online. A year ago at this time, I was in the hospital for what turned out to be the better part of 2 months for treatment of ulcers related to Prednisone usage. Because it was obvious that Prednisone and I didn't get along, I was taken off of that treatment, and have stayed on the following: 40Mg Daily of Lasix 1200Mg Daily of Labetalol Beta Blocking Blood Pressure Meds 450Mg Daily of Avapro -- Angiotensin II The Avapro was provided as a substitute for the ACE Inhibitor Zestril, since I had developed the nasty side effect of the Zestril cough. My protein is currently stable at 1.0 grams, and my creatinine runs between 3.4 and 4.6 depending on the day that I get it done. My Neph estimates my kidney function at something over 50%, and holding steady. I have to say that I really didn't expect to feel this good. I even went skiing on Monday with my kids, and did a very strenuous day of skiing, without feeling the least bit tired. I'm even looking forward to going to Colorado, California, or British Columbia come April Vacation -- something that I didn't get the chance to do last year! Guest guest
Hi Walt. Glad to hear you're doing well. That is one whopping dose of Avapro. I take, and can only tolerate 150 mg daily. 450 would knock me out for sure. Pierre My status > It's been a while since I posted online.
