Hi.

I am writing to see if any the parents who have older children ever experienced

the following.  Since being on the protocol since  four, my son came from a

place where he was severely affected and made significant gains that to me were

a miracle.   For example, when he was three, he was out there and I can remember

walking this conservation land to get exercise and he was stimming, screaming at

God knows what, and also not able to walk anywhere normally and enjoy like other

families.  He now does this without any issues and looks quite normal.  For the

last couple of years, he has been two years behind grade level and we work

harder than anyone I know here and spend at least 15 hours to 18 hours a week

doing so and also combining fun.  Nothing I seem to

do breaks that two year behind problem and now it is getting worse.

This year, he turned 12 and I have found that his attention that was previously

much better, is way off, and so is his motivation that was also previously much

better.  His allergy cells are up, but I have no idea how because I used to

allow small infractions in the past  during Halloween or birthday parties and

his labs were fine, but now that I am not doing that at all, they still higher

than ever.  The diet is cleaner than ever. I feel like I am punishing him about

the food because we are stricter than ever.

My son had  years of gains followed by a regression that is lasting 3 months and

getting worse.   Has anyone else on this list experienced anything similiar and

is this just a phase that you think will pass?  (I hope so.)

Thanks in advance for any input.
