Ghrelin looking for anwers

Reading old post trying to understand my grandson`s illness. Found it very

interesting articles (brain-gut axis in pancreatic secretion & appetite) about

ghrelin. Although he has no appetite (this runs in my family)also hypoglysemia

wondering if he may be lacking this hormone & he is very small thin.

Question if this would contribute to his HHV6 is always up while on these

antiviral,antifungal & immunivor for so long why aren`t these viruses under

control? He is on a very strict diet has been since 3 yrs he is 12. I know these

older kids are more difficult to get better.

Has there been any studies on ghrelin & our `s kids? Wondering what is

going on with this little boy wanting to get these viruses under control.Imput
