Guest guest
Yes, that's exactly it, I know it's not dislocated, but it just feels sooo uncomfortable, it's so nice to know that other people have felt like that too!! It seems pretty constant in my shoulder at the moment, has been for a month or two and I just want it to stop, but it really helps to know that other people know how I'm feeling! It seems to get better without bra straps in the way, wearing one of those can be irritating at the best of times!! Thank you so much Emma x > > > > I don't know if anyone has felt like this, and I'm not sure I can > > explain properly, but has anyone felt like one of their joints is in > > the wrong place? Guest guest
Thank you, it helps so much just to have someone understand what I'm saying. I don't think anyone who hasn't felt it can understand. My family doesn't get it and nor does my boyfriend. They help as much as they can and I really appreciate it, but sometimes you just need to talk to someone who knows what it actually feels like. I'll let you know if there's anything I find to help it. Thank you so much, Emma x > I don't know if anyone has felt like this, and I'm not sure I can > explain properly, but has anyone felt like one of their joints is in > the wrong place? Guest guest
Yup, that's how it was when I first realized something wasn't right a couple of months ago. I felt silly going to the Dr. about such a silly thing...but then I wouldn't have been diagnosed and wouldn't be on my medicine yet! Maybe you should call your Dr. now if you are in pain. Get some new meds. > > I don't know if anyone has felt like this, and I'm not sure I can > explain properly, but has anyone felt like one of their joints is in > the wrong place? Guest guest
ann, You should just go to the emergency room. Try to go to the hospital where you had the scan done. Maybe go to one that is connected with where you had it done. You might get some relief sooner than waiting for the doctor. --------- [ ] Please help It started last friday, i usually only have pain in my hands and wrist, I woke up with pains starting in my shoulders and to make a long story short its now in my knees and ankles not to mention my back, I can bearly get around, Last night i cried it hurt so bad, i took 6 800 mg ibuprofensin 3 hours, before i could even try to get some releif. Guest guest
ann, 7 deg means its getting warmer. Mannn I don't think I will ever move your way. I can't imagine. I live in NJ and When we go down below 40 my whole body starts hurting. We live in a house that was built in the 20's and the wind comes thru all over . I take Vicodan for pain, Methrotrexate, and soon to add Humera ( if the insurance ever comes thru.) The only advise I can give you, and I am sure you have already tried it, wrap up in an electric blanket and try to relax. Watch the amount of Ibuprofen you take as it is hard on the stomach and can cause ulcers. Wish I could be of more help. Guest guest
,I know you're scared to death! . . . I'm so sorry. You were doing really well last week. . . This will pass soon. Are you drinking a lot of water? . . . I'd suggest a glass of water every hour . . . let those toxins out!I know you don't think you're stressing, but your entire message reads stress, stress, stress. Much of this can be caused by not sleeping . . . Even if you aren't sleeping, lay down, listen to some really soft, gentle music while you visualize yourself relaxed, calm and at peace. . . Feel your body become light as a feather as you take slow, deep breaths. With each outgoing breath, feel the tension in your body float away from you. Putting your brain at the Alpha level will give you the same benefit as sleep. It will take some practice . . . but you'll soon learn to do this automatically. If you'll do this repeatedly until you begin to feel like yourself, you should calm down soon. You're going to be fine. Things have been happening so fast, your body needs time to catch up.Hugs and prayers,Rogene

Guest guest
,You may need to go to emergency if you don't feel better soon - or at least to see your doctor tomorrow. Your hubby would probably be the best judge because he's right there. You must get water down. A glass every hour until you're urinating frequently. It's terribly important that you stay hydrated - especially when you're detoxing. . . If nothing else, they would put you on a saline drip and rehydrate you. What happening to you right now is different than what we've seen with other women. I think you need medical attention.Hugs and prayers,Rogene

I just moved from South Florida to South Forsyth Ga. I have a 2 year old with hypotonia, apraxia, Trachiamalacia( spelled wrong), reflux/gerd. She has had double hernia surgery, born with a hole in the heart (resolved)a apnea monitor for 13 months, has had tubes in, adnoids out, rsv, several hospital stays, and wears orhtotics. I was just told by my new service coordinator that the " Babies cant wait program " is really not for me. My child is not going to get any therapy just an educator to come to my house 2xs a month. She said they have no money or therapist avalible and that the model is changing to educators. In the meantime I am watching my 2 year old lose sounds, balance, gait widening again, and just not progressing. In Florida she was receiving 4 s/t per week, 4 p/t per week, and 2 o/t per month. Right now we are paying 500.00 per week for therapy and she is not getting half of what she was receiving in Florida. They want to add 1 more s/t & p/t but that would bring us up to 750.00 per week. I did not even make that a week in Florida when I worked. My health insurance that we are paying to cobra is very expensive and covers nothing. I am tired. We tried to get ssi but we were denied. We are trying to get various grants but they want letters from my doctors stating, what, why, when, how often ect.ect., The doctors want me to write the letters and then they will copy it on their letterhead (like I don't have enough to do.) We are also trying for KAtie Beckett but have been told we probaly won't qualify beacuase you have to make your child look worse then they are (again my doctors want me to fill out the forms) I need help. Guest guest
I am a fellow Georgian and several similar troubles finding resources for my child. I loved the services I received through Babies Can't Wait: OT, speech and eating therapy (all of which are homebased) I am sure that different areas have different resouces but I would try it. My child qualified for SSI through his CP hypotonia diagnosis. I was told that Cerebral Palsy was a condition that immediately qualified children to receive SSI. Before we qualified for SSI, we saw several specialists through Children's Medical Services. At the link below, look for the " Coordinator List " link for who to contact in your area: http://health.state.ga.us/programs/cms/ If you do receive SSI or Medicaid, apply for HIPP. If your child is on your Cobra Policy, they will help pay the monthly insurance premium: http://www.parenttoparentofga.org/hipp.htm BUT if you can't get SSI, there is Peachcare (I think you would have to remove your child from cobra/insurance but I know ALOT of families do this: http://dch.georgia.gov/00/channel_title/0,2094,31446711_31946830,00.html AND if you can't get Peachcare, there is a Deeming Waiver to help with costs of medical services: http://www.parenttoparentofga.org/roadmap/insurance/insurancedeeming.htm Please let me know if you have any questions!! > > I would like to know who do you write to in your state goverment to > complain about early intervention services?
