Guest guest
Hi Al - I'm usuing this right now, one pack daily, and have been for almost one month. I felt a big difference in energy after a week and am feeling stronger every day. I'm using Moducare also, another supplement for immune system balancing, with good results. Guest guest
I went to the website and it looks good but it sure appears to be expensive. Is this a supplement that we would take forever or is it a two or three month thing and then we improve and can quit? Guest guest
How many packets of proboost are you taking a day, those who are taking it? I take BioPro Thymic protein A, which from what I can tell after looking at the ProBoost web site, is almost identical to ProBoost (but actually $5 more expensive per box, so I think I might switch). I take one packet a day. I took it for about six months over a years ago, then went off for a long time, and am now back on it. I do think it helps a little, and the first time I took it I noticed a definite improvement for a period of time. I am thinking of going up to 2 packs a day. The only thing is the expense. Does anyone, also, know of any problems that might be caused from taking too much of this stuff? Thanks. Peggy

Guest guest
Hi Rose, I'm glad to help. Something that makes sense to me is the low weight immune-system molecule. Its easy to see how it would not work. And there is lots of reports on it. http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=rnase+low+weight & FORM=QBRE Then this report says the damaged cells don't self destruct like they are suppose too, so new good ones can't take there place. http://www.ncf-net.org/forum/TotalExposure.htm The lower molecular weight fragments of RNase L are produced from the specific cleavage of native RNase L by a protease(s). These fragments then play a selective role in inhibiting the apoptotic pathway, in effect keeping the damaged cell alive and the immune system dysfunctional http://www.proboostmed.com/ On there web site its says proboost helps induce apoptosis (cell death.) (I have been getting mine here. Its the cheapest I've found $39 and they do ship international.) http://www.betterhealthinternational.com/productDetails.asp_Q_prodID_E_333 I'm now on my second box of proboost and I'm able to do many many more things that I could not before. Like 2 days ago I got a new plastic phone in my room, and I'm already use to it. But it seems it will take months before I'm ok. And I'm hoping once the major problems are ok I'll start picking up steam. Ron (In doors I'm in terrible shape and its easy for me to see improvement. Guest guest
Hi Rose, I almost forgot. Proboost is one of the suppliments the fibromyalgia center suggested I take. (CoQ10, ENADA, FM relief, NT factor, Super Multiple (probably vitamins), ProBoost, Enzyme Rx, Rest & Restore. ) Is the complete list. They made it sound like I should be better in about 6 weeks. They said some people take longer. I read a post form someone saying they have been taking one packed of proboost every day for about a year. To me that makes it sound like proboost is going to help, but its like a bucket full of water with holes in it. Just pluging a few holes is not enough. (At least that is what the center told me.) Guest guest
Yes me too. I've tried tons of stuff, and could take them a few times, but that's all. But the proboost is making it possible. The worst one I'm only starting with a tiny bit. maybe 1/50. (enzymes.) Most of the others I can do at least 1/4. They make me very tired, but a different a tired, like coming out of a jacuzzi. I had to stop, rest a few days, but the next time I could take much more for longer. It feels like in 6 weeks I'll be taking the recommended amounts no sweat. (They cost about $29 - $39 each.) I would recommend starting with the proboost, and if that works unbelievably well, then the nt factor, and last the enzymes. I don’t have FM ‘just’ ME, though I assume protocols for one should, in theory, have benefit for the other? The real problem I have found having tried an awful lot of stuff is that I just can’t tolerate much at all, not even the tiniest little bit, so it’s never possible to take anything long enough to see an improvement. I like the idea that Proboost is immunomodulating, that seems very pertinent to me, and is in keeping with the over-expressed genes being found in 2 research groups here in the UK. It also bears consideration in that it is regarded as a good supplement by Teitelbaum – sorry I’m sure that spelling must be wrong. Do you take all of the products recommended to you, and have any proven difficult for you to take? Guest guest
Sorry I was'nt very clear. I was talking about the other suppliments. (I thought I was the only one who could not take things.) In the pass I've gotten very bad reactions form stuff, so yes, to start with I'll start with 1/50. A very tiny amount. (but the proboost has not given me any bad reaction at all. Even the very frist time. Its pure ok.) Guest guest
Beyond A Century sells it at a discount. http://www.beyond-a-century.com/ Ellen Was: INTENSE ITCHING, anxiety...now PROBOOST I agree -- proboost is a great product. If only it were half the price, or even 25% less, I think they'd sell a lot more, and help a lot more people. I can't afford it.
Guest guest
Hi Naomi, I'm glad you are trying it, and reporting to the group. If it works for you too, mabey others will try it too. I don't remember very well what happened when I frist tryed it, but it was something like this. At frist I did a very small amount, like a 1/50 of one packet just be sure I was going to be ok with it. And then one or 2 a day for about a month. I started to notice less and less food trouble with-in 10 days. (I would take proboost right after eating.) The food problems went a way with just a little proboost. Its the plastics and other things that I had to do 3 a day for 6 weeks, to put a big dent it them. Now I can go along well, until I run into something new then I have to start over again, with that new stuff. Right now I got a new DVR (they record tv shows.) it runs late at night and heats up, and I get a plastic hit in the middle of the night. Its the 4th night now, and I put a cover on it, and with the proboost its 80% better. In a few more nights I'll start taking off the cover, and mabey this will be one of the last trouble things. Guest guest
I know Dr. G. probably would not use it. I read from other Chronic Fatigue site that Proboost lowered their viral titers, boosted energy and helped fatigue. Just curious if anybody with chronic fatigue on this site have tried it. Thank you, Lucy
