Guest guest
Hey ~  Are you seeing Dr. or Dr. Goldberg? My son tested positive for PANDAS with Dr Cunningham, in Oklahoma. We see Dr. , in Texas. With our son, Dr. is making sure all the other lab work is in working order BEFORE starting PANDAS treatment. It makes good sense to us. Especially, since my son was at the lower end of testing positive for PANDAS!  HTH -ED     From: Fund <susan_fund@...> Subject: PANDAS Treatment Date: Sunday, October 24, 2010, 12:39 PM  My son has a severe case of PANDAS. He has been on azithromycin(250mgs per day) and celexa(20mgs per day) for one month with some minor progress. His doc just prescribed prednisone 20 mgs per day for one to two months. My son is 13 yrs old and weighs 150 pounds. Do these doses sound correct? We are also looking into IVIG incase the above does not alleviate his symptoms
Guest guest
We are not seeeing Dr G or Dr R. We live in MA and are using a DAN doc who does understand PANDAS. I was just wondering what doses otheres are using in their PANDAS treatments. My son has had elevated strep titers for years with many PANDAS symptoms in addition to his autism. He was exposed again to strep in June from his sibling and had a major regression  From: Fund <susan_fund@...> Subject: PANDAS Treatment Date: Sunday, October 24, 2010, 12:39 PM  My son has a severe case of PANDAS.
