Thanks, everyone, for your replies, and for pointing out something I

didn't really stop to think about myself. After working in a factory

for 9 years, and only getting 3 days off for Christmas, I guess I

thought the rest of the world carried on the same! And of course,

it's the end of the year, so businesses will be scurrying around to

get W-2's done, and that sort of thing.

It just hits me hard sometimes. You all know that I'm not the kind

of person who takes inertia well. At first, it was okay, because I

was taking the time to let my body heal, and detox from the nasty

chemicals from my old job. I was also busy dealing with unemployment

and the Dept. of Labor. Now, I'm just going stir crazy! But there

is one silver lining. Through all the stress and everything, I

finally hit the triple digits in my weight loss. I've lost 100

pounds guys!! The new jeans I just bought in September are starting

to get loose on me already!

The one day I went out and hit the pavement looking for a job, the

outfit I was wearing made me feel so confident, and I got tons of

compliments, and treated with such respect. It's amazing what a good

outfit can do for you. I love to dress up, but honestly, other than

the boots I was wearing, I paid less than $20 for my outfit. I found

this amazing brown tweed skirt at Walmart on the clearance rack for

$9, and everyone loves it, and it also goes with just about any color

on top.

Kaylene-to answer your question about my husband, he got a new job,

but it doesn't start til Jan 2nd. The temp agency I'm signed up with

called me about a few job possibilities yesterday, but like I said,

I'm too afraid to get my hopes up. I did that once already, and got

them smashed to pieces, so I'm not going to do that again. All of my

office skills are up to par. I even had to take a test over MS

Office before the temp agency would agree to refer me for any office

jobs. Hopefully, soon, someone will bite!

Jen
