Guest guest
If someone is critical of a persons behavior, it does not follow that he or she is unfamiliar with whom that person is. My opinions of his solicitations are distinct from my opinion of Dr. himself. > > You can read the story of how Dr got to where he is in the > archived issue of the Lyme Times #32 at www.lymedisease.org > Even saints are human. > Phyllis Mervine >
Guest guest
I read with your interest your post. I sent a rather 'decent sized' check last winter for Dr. campaign --- I heard nothing for a few months then did get an acknowledgement. I am not sure how cases like this work. I have been involved in a lawsuit where we used a Boston Law firm on a contingency basis in a suit against a vendor for DMH regarding the assault of our daughter in an apt. run by that Vendor. The law firm was extremely professional and very compassionate.... Our daughter won in mediation ----- As much as I hate to say it --- it does appear that this firm is on the take so to speak.........I don't feel a sense of professionalism in the request for funds--- something is missing. I am sure that these letters are written by the firm or someone other than Dr. . I certainly do not see this as anything against Dr. --- there are few people in his class. But I do have to wonder about this firm. Does anyone know anything about them? Any lawyers out there?? Is this a common practice?? I sincerely hope that Dr. has a good personal attorney whom he has known for years advising him...... It does sound like this is the firm's ONLY case---- there is something that just doesn't seem quite straight --- just an opinion, a feeling....... I cannot think of someone who deserves the best in terms of a defense and in terms of our support. However, we all know those lawyer jokes didn't just evolve without reason. We are all capable of being manipulated in any situation that involves our personal and/or professional life........ I just hope that this isn't happening to him. However, I haven't attending any of his hearings so perhaps those who have seen these attorneys in action would know..... I just have this " feeling " and in an ideal situation would love to have this firm show some accountability for these funds...... But that is not our job...... Our job is to love and support this man who has given his life to so many. Given the choice -- I choose to support and care -- and hope that my 'inkling' of 'whatever it is' is only that. I do appreciate the fact that someone did write and express what I do think many of us were wondering. This is the forum for just that. Guest guest
I really do think that America works through litigation -- as much as I hate to say this........ As I mentioned before our daughter won her lawsuit against a DMH vendor ( who then just raised their fees) -- but they develop a new and fairly large residential treatment program for young adults with Mental Illness which I am sure was a result of this suit. The state is also looking at other means of handling treatment..... Anyway, I am very glad that the funds have been raised. I also agree that some research into a class action suit would be good --- but who do you sue?? It may be that after that article and Blumenthals investigation that we can sue the Infectious Disease Society--- I don't know --- I mean a medical group has never before been investigated that way that Blumenthal went after them--- so who knows...... This would get publicity --- But this is true -- this is how our country works so maybe this is what needs to be done........... It would be interesting ---- **************Get the scoop on last night's hottest shows and the live music scene in your area - Check out TourTracker.com! Guest guest
I have sent in a couple of emails unsigned regarding the Dr. case. My email address has been included on all. I personally am glad that people are questioning this process and are supportive of Dr. . I do hope that more lawsuits are coming but FROM lyme sufferers receiving inadequate treatment as opposed to against lyme doctors being harassed. Questioning what is going on is healthy and necessary. Based on personal experience, litigation can help to make change. Again, it does empower the individual and the cause. (again referring to lyme sufferers) This is an avenue that needs to be explored more thoroughly. SUSAN M. LOUISIGNAU MEd; RA; SRA LOUISIGNAU APPRAISAL SERVICES 229 MAPLE ST. Guest guest
> Dang, that's a lot for meds. I had no idea, because I rarely have to get > prescriptions. Asthma meds are ridiculous. One of the inhalers I use costs over $300 and it's only good for 30 days. The other is *only* about $200. Thank goodness for pharmacy plans and low enough co-pays! Guest guest
I've read Dr. 's book about 10 times, talked to his son on the phone, read Dr. ' books several times and am currently reading the reprint of Dr. Beard (the first one who discovered the pancreatic enzyme treatment of cancer). I take massive amount of enzymes. I've taken Dr. Kelley's self test and it says I'm parasympathetic dominant. For the type of cancer I have (non-hodgkins lymphoma) this matches as they say parsym. dominant people get the " soft tumors " like lymphoma, leukemia and myeloma. The recommended diet for parasym. dominant, contradicts all other " one size fits all " cancer diets in that it emphasizes proteins and good fats and mimimizes carbs, especially starches, and even some vegetables and fruits. I am currently following this type of diet. Obviously, I believe in this theory as it makes perfect sense. Dr. ' books (and his case studies on his website) are very convincing. One also has to wondered why 30,000+ people went to see a Texan orthodontist (Dr. Kelley) for their health issues/mostly cancer. He was very, very successful using diet, detox and pancreatic enzymes. But before I started the enzymes and diet, I made the biggest strides in reversing my lymphoma by addressing heavy metals such as mercury, and also, Candida (a systemic fungal overgrowth). These are key if one is addressing a blood or lymphatic cancer. Hope this helps. best regards, Steve

Guest guest
Here is the link: http://nnyautismcenter.com/ From what I understand, Dr is only there twice a year and that is when you need to go for an initial visit to become a new patient. I hear the next appointments are for May or June. I believe that you see Kathy on on subsequent visits. Caryn > > Hi All! > > I hear Dr Russel has an office in NY.
