Such a waste of time; sorry. I don’t know why they won’t post. I’m not brand new. thanks From:Kathi [mailto:kathi0908@...] Sent: Monday, December 20, 2010 2:02 PM ' ' Subject: RE: Teach - take Pills Hi , I taught my daughter with using the oraflow cup. It was about $15, but worth it b/c she was freaking out. This did the trick. I’m hoping it’ll help my son, next (she’s not asd; my son is). http://www.oralflo.com/ you can shop around, I think they are on amazon now too (not sure). The ARI website also has info on how to get your child to learn to swallow pills – it’s an aba method. Just go to the site and type in learning to swallow pills in the search engine. Some include using something small your child can have to help them learn (like a mini m and m). I won’t use any candy or dyes with my son, so this won’t be my method. The only other things I thought of to use was a frozen or freeze-dried pea (again I won’t use candy like the aba videos show, but that’s just me, so I’m trying to think of alternatives). Just some thoughts; hope it helps. Good luck and Merry Christmas, Kathi From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Denton Sent: Monday, December 20, 2010 12:44 PM Subject: Teach - take Pills I am trying to teach my son to swallow pills and have not been very successful. Does any one has any suggestions or literature on how to do it. Merry Christmas
