Guest guest
Hi , Can you send me your exact recipe for the potato flour pancakes. Have you ever tried pureed pears instead of the banana? Guest guest
Lorna, We could not do goat's milk. Now we use Silk soy milk (in the dairy section) for cereal and cook with non dairy creamer. There is Mocha Mix brand or we use the supermarket brand. It cooks like milk. We use it in pancakes, muffins and even meatloaf. You don't notice the difference. Marcia

Guest guest
Marcia, we use Mocha Mix too. When I was looking for something to replace Rice Dream, it was the only thing I tried that didn't think was " disgusting. " Of course, it isn't a nutritional replacement for milk AT ALL -- it has no nutritional value other than calories, so while it's great on cereal and in recipes, it's not something to give our kids to drink...plus it has a consistency and fat-content comparable to cream and needs to be diluted. My question, though: Can Mocha Mix be whipped like cream? All of the so-called " non-dairy " whipped toppings that I can find contain casein. TIA, Donna
Guest guest
Donna and , mocha mix does work like a champ in cooking. And Donna, I just used low calorie cool whip for topping. If casein or even dairy was one of the last ingredients I didn't make myself crazy over it. And you don't put much whipped topping on things. I once asked Dr G why could do pancakes at a restaurant when they had dairy and he said sometimes when the dairy is cooked, it is not as big an issue. More important to spend this time working with your kid than making whipped topping. Best, Marcia
Guest guest
Smart and Final carries a non dairy whipped topping in the can that doesn't contain casein. Guest guest
Sure. You mix milk (or milk substitite) with the bread crumbs (gluten free, of course). Then you mix in meat and letchup and onions. Isn't that how meatloaf is made? It is the way I have always made it. > > Marcia > Do you really put milk in meat loaf. > > > > > > > ________________________________ > From: and Marcia Hinds <hindssite@...> > lorna_77@...; nids > Sent: Mon, January 24, 2011 8:58:14 AM > Subject: Re: Dr. Goldberg's Diet > > > Lorna, > > We could not do goat's milk. Guest guest
OOps yeah, I forgot.  I frequently broke that one, but since eos's didn't ever go up, that was the one whole grain we used to be allowed to have. I guess he's kind of changed his stance on that since then? Or is it still one of those 'maybe's if the child isn't reacting? ________________________________ From: Bill klimas <klimas_bill@...> Sent: Sat, January 29, 2011 4:32:01 AM Subject: Re: Re: Dr. Goldberg's Diet  For me Oats are great in meatloaf but a no no for Connor.
