Guest guest
Hi: I found one of Dr Goldberg's videos on YouTube 2 nights ago and I finally found someone that understands about the commonality of CFS, autism and other related diseases. I went through all his videos and have gone through some twice! I believe I have a diet that will be of interest to those that believe food is the underlying cause of neuro-inflammation. Why I am here? I came down with CFS when I was 27 years old and I am now 54. I first believed the root cause ( I was in Telco so we use root cause analysis instead of eitology...lol)of my problem was internal inflammation back in '98. I believe now I have found a different approach to the neuro-inflammation riddle. Has anyone here seen the movie Lorenzo's Oil? I refer to anyone like the parents in the movie as Lorenzo Warriors. That is what I appreciated about watching Dr. Goldberg's video. He strikes me as being a Lorenzo Warrior. If you have seen that movie and are that type of person ( I like to think I am too) then here is what I am saying. The root cause of neuro-inflammation is glucose. When I finally understood that, I was able to create a meal plan for myself to avoid glucose. ( To me, all sugar, carbs are glucose because that is all the body allows in the bloodstream..glucose). I am " irked " because after all those years ( 25 years, 3 months) I was able to escape CFS with a few months! I hope I am in the right place and can find a few " Lorenzo Warriors " that might be interested in what I have to say? For example, if you watched the movie, did you notice how they had to focus on and understand VLCFA ( very long chain fatty acids) to understand the disease of their son? This is why to me the GFCFSF diets fail....because they still include glucose. Understanding or being aware of this type of information is what I found key to my finally understanding neuro-inflammatory disease and creating my meal plan. I so hope there is someone here that is interested in hearing what I have to say and might be a Lorenzo Warrior learning type? Sincerely: Rick
