Guest guest
Hi we have six children . Our fourth child developed autism but older children had asthma eczema and severe done allergies i did not know at that stage they were red flags. We have two younger children who did not recieve vaccinations . They have never had ear infections antibiotics on asthma eczema no food allergies . We now treat any illness with homempath help. We are actually due number seven in april and once again theie will no vaccines. Big families are great .good luck with your decision. Guest guest
My first born son has autism...the regressive kind. He has some speech delays at 2 years old, but didn't fully regress into what they call autism until he was 4-5 years old. I had 2 more boys after him. I went off all dairy with my second one while I nursed him and he had no problems. My first baby spit up half of everything he nursed, but no one ever told me to go off dairy. My second son had all his vaccine's except the last MMR. By then, I had read enough to not want them anymore. He is almost 8 years old now and is totally normal. Top of his class in reading and math. My 3rd born son just turned 6 and he is normal as well. I gave him the first round of vaccines and then stopped with him...I believe the vaccines' aggravated whatever was wrong with my first born son...and since we didn't know what that was..and didn't know if my 3rd born would react the same way, I just didn't give them to him. I believe my first born's immune system was messed up from birth and every vaccine and virus he got since he was born has continued to cause him problems. We have been on Valtrex for the last 9 months and seeing some minor improvements. I did have a horrible rash the last month of my pregnancy with my first born. No one knew what it was or why....but now I believe is was caused by yeast in me. I wonder if that threw off my first born son's immune system? I did not have that rash with the other pregnancies...but I did get it once more when I went back on birth control pills. When I read that the pill can cause yeast...I figured out that was why I was having that itchy rash that was worse at night. TammyK
Guest guest
My oldest son (12 years old) is /ASD. He was treated by Dr. Goldberg from Oct 2002-July 2009. No, he is not recovered, but is continually making progress. I gave birth (over-due, induced with ALL three pregnancies) to a second boy, born Nov 2005 and a girl born Sept 2008. With both of these pregnancies I followed Dr. Goldberg's basic pregnancy guideline- which is following the diet and an alternative vaccine schedule. You stay on the /low allergen diet while pregnant for yourself/unborn baby and then while nursing. And keep the baby on the diet once starting solid foods until he/she is 2 years old. **The other key factor in reducing the risk of another " " kid is an alternative vaccine schedule. You opt out of the Hepatitis B vaccine (the hospital didn't push it for us since my oldest son reacted to it) and chicken pox. Otherwise, you split up the other vaccines, giving DTP and polio when you go in for the 2, 4, and 6 month check-ups, and then come in on the " odd " months (3, 5, and 7) for the HiB and pneumococcal. Our local doctor has been willing to work with us this way. Any GOOD doctor would be willing to side with caution, and the parents, in my opinion.** I was able to breastfeed my second son for two years. (My oldest had a low sucking reflex and never learned to latch on properly). Younger brother has taken medication 5-6 times times for illness/infection in his life, compared to my oldest who was being treated for an ear infection at least every other month his first year. He's never had sleep/night screaming issues or any of the other issues my oldest had during his first few years. He's a happy, healthy chatterbox and has passed his older brother in social/language skills. But he has been the BEST therapy for his brother. They tickle each other, roll on the floor together, play ball, and play board/card games (with adult help). My daughter is developing wonderfully, breastfed for just under 2 years. She's only been sick/on medication 2 times, and hasn't had colic or trouble sleeping at night. She's speaking several hundred words and in complete sentences. Oldest brother is even sweeter with her than he is with his brother--he instigates games like peek-a-boo and hide-and-go-seek with her. And keeps her out of trouble when she starts to get into something she shouldn't. Again, siblings make great therapist for the /ASD kids. Hope this is helpful/reassuring. - in Mobile, AL ______________________________________ " You must write for children in the same way as you do for adults, only better.
