Guest guest
If anyone purchases this video, it would be nice of you could get it aired on your state wide interconnect cable access t.v. Guest guest
Oh cool Jeanine, I had just never heard of any videos. thanks! Let us know how it felt in the shower! Shaye The Soap Shack www.mysoapshack.com Video Shaye, I got the video quite a few months ago from a soaper at www.fragrantblossom.com. That was the credit at the end of the video. It showed three separate segments. It's a home made video but I found it interesting. You might try the site and see if she still has it available. My soap is out of the molds today. They look great with the purple swirl and the fragrance is so very nice. Still a tad soft but I'm going to try one in the shower tonight. Guest guest
STILL WAITING HERE ALSO video hi all! about a month ago I read a post about a video made of Dr. Chaney discussing his most recent research. I sent a check for $15.00 for a copy. Can't remember who or where I sent it to. (nothing unusual, I've been sick for a while). Can anyone help me out so I can follow up? I have not received it yet and its been awhile. thanks EML151
Guest guest
I have never been to a funeral that has been videotaped or have seen one that was. I agree also that it is up to the individual(s) involved. Funerals although a sad event are places where families, friends gather to remember one who has passed away. Guest guest
Helen, I know this is something that should be up to the family of the deceased, but sometimes families aren't aware that they can have the option of video taping of a funeral now days. I've been to two so far, and it wasn't any different than a funeral that hadn't been video taped. Of course now days they have video projections of the deceased played on a huge screen from video, and home movies, through their years of their life. The one that was the most interesting was the first funeral that we attended that was being video taped, it was for a 16 yr old daughter of a friend. Rock music, moderate music, videos that showed her from infant to a few months before her death. It was the life of our friends daughter, and it was presented really well, as she had the flesh eating virus and had to be cremated, so her urn was on a table with her picture next to it. I think it was very fitting, as we were all able to see her again. Normally you would view the person in their casket, giving everyone closure to the persons life. But video taping isn't disrespectful, if the family agrees to let you do it. And it is a memorial that is the end of a persons life, so it rounds out the video library of a of a person. I know for myself, I requested my family to have them either give me a traditional Viking funeral, or cremate me and have my ashes cast upon the waters off of a trident submarine were I started out in government. Imagine being cast upon the ocean from something that family and friends can't attend. That probably to some would be the strangest funeral people would attend, like a celebration of life memorial, where you would view the funeral services on video, and all sit around and say the things that we all do behind the persons back, except you would all get up and do it at the service and probably have a great time. I know, I've been to one of those too to many. Anyway, video taping a funeral isn't new, why Princes 's and F. Kennedy's are available at your local video stores and how many times can you view their funerals on the History Channel. But the issue here is whether the family would approve to having someone video tape there family members funeral, and it is their family that should make that decision and not us. Guest guest
Steve, That design is one of Bruce McMillan's. It is actually pretty cool to be able to have the video run forward and backward like that. If you want to change that, the simplest thing is probably just to delete the video player object and add a new one. Just run the Pass/Fail output into Enable, and it should work as you want. Pete Van DeusenBrainTrainer ()16246 SW 92nd Ave, Miami, FL 33157305/321-1595 video Pete: When using one of your designs with A1 and BioExplorer, (HEG) the video runs as a series of stills with starts, stops and reversals (it goes backwards and forwards as the HEG signal goes up and down). Is there a way to have it just stop and go forward? Is it supposed to run a a series of stills (when I run the video in the player it runs in motion).SDC

Guest guest
Look on the Threshold object which is drives the DVD Player. The middle output is Pass/Fail. When the threshold is met, it sends a Pass message (which "enable"s the DVD player to proceed). When the threshold is not met, it sends a Fail message which causes the DVD or video player or whatever to pause. Guest guest
In that design there is no threshold object with pass'fail' output. I was able to add one but haven't had a chance to test it to see how it functions. > > > Steve, > > > > > > That design is one of Bruce McMillan's. Guest guest
Hi everyone, I didnt plan this very well......When I offered the video I didnt think that so many people would want it. This video is NOT for sale by ISOP. Its property of the Discovery Channel. I suggest that you contact the Discovery Channel for a quality dub of the program from them. Not to mention, I tried all day yesterday to get this done and had no luck. Everytime I thought I was making progress, one of the VCR's would get a tracking problem...Grrrr!! Sorry..... Guest guest
Thanks Gail, As I was typing my last reply about the video, I got to thinking 'is this the legal thing to do?' with all the copyright laws and all. Well wish me luck all, I am going away for the weekend and I am going to be putting No Mail for my mailing lists and the last time I did this, that's when I started getting double posts. Oh Btw, I changed the email at groups to a Hotmail acct. and the double posts stopped. Betty Madison, WI _________________________________________________________________ Is your PC infected? Guest guest
Thats good! My husband and I couldnt come up with any reason for the emails to double like that, other than just a thing. > Thanks Gail, > > As I was typing my last reply about the video, I got to thinking 'is this > the legal thing to do?' with all the copyright laws and all. > > Well wish me luck all, I am going away for the weekend and I am going to be > putting No Mail for my mailing lists and the last time I did this, that's > when I started getting double posts. Guest guest
Dora, Post video question. What were you abel to hear at activation?
Guest guest
Dora, I can't wait to see your video. <smile> Your activation experience with the N24C was similar to mine. Voices sounded high pitched and metallic. My audi's voice, her assistant's and my own voice all sounded the same, but I didn't care! It was music to my ears! I was taken by surprise when my audi slid something across the table and I could hear it. When I asked her what the sound was, it was then that she realized I heard the sound of her sliding a paper bag across the table! It's amazing to think about how much we forget (or miss) about sound after a month, year or many years of severe hearing loss or profound deafness. One thing I'd completely forgotten about was how sound changes as you move closer or further away. I'm also starting to realize how different TV and radio programs, voices -- and music -- have different volume levels of output. I can also hear the emphasis in a person's voice which gives me some indication of their personality or sense of conviction about whatever it is they're talking about. Hearing with a CI is an amazing experience!!
