Guest guest
I use Stevia in place of sugar - in cooking and drinks. I didn't hear Dr. G. mention about Stevia but Googled to check that Stevia doesn't feed yeast and spike up blood sugar. Does anybody else use Stevia? Check the ingredients when you buy stevia (comes in powder, liquid form in different brand names) though as some mix in other stuff not allowed by diet. ________________________________ From: Kristy Nardini <knardini@...> Sent: Mon, February 21, 2011 12:40:08 PM Subject: RE: Re: drinks Are you concerned about the “fake†sugar and dyes in products like Crystal Light? Guest guest
We use stevia in our goat yogourt and cereal in the morning. I dont believe Dr. G has anything against it. You can get stevia sodas as well, the kids like them, but I find them repulsive From: Lucy Town <lucy1628@...> Subject: Re: Re: drinks Date: Monday, February 21, 2011, 7:03 PM  I use Stevia in place of sugar - in cooking and drinks. Guest guest
I used to be concerned. I can't tolerate almost any sugar substitutes. But at this point, not getting enough fluids and having too much sugar far outweighs the negatives. And it's always a goal to reduce the amount.  ________________________________ From: Kristy Nardini <knardini@...> Sent: Mon, February 21, 2011 2:40:08 PM Subject: RE: Re: drinks  Are you concerned about the “fake†sugar and dyes in products like Crystal Light?
