Are there any flavours of Crystal Light that are off limits?

Crystal Light is sugar-free, and, at least the last time I checked, it was

Dr. G-approved. My son absolutely HATES water and hates anything carbonated.

He will only drink juice, so I give him Crystal Light or diluted juice(1

part juice, 3 parts water).

Are you concerned about the “fake” sugar and dyes in products like Crystal

Light? I am.

I use Stevia in place of sugar - in cooking and drinks. I didn't hear Dr. G.

mention about Stevia but Googled to check that Stevia doesn't feed yeast and

spike up blood sugar. Does anybody else use Stevia? Check the ingredients when

you buy stevia (comes in powder, liquid form in different brand names) though as

some mix in other stuff not allowed by diet.

We use stevia in our goat yogourt and cereal in the morning.  I dont believe

Dr. G has anything against it.  You can get stevia sodas as well, the kids like

them, but I find them repulsive ;)

We use Truvia, also from the stevia plant but without the aftertaste.

I used to be concerned.  I can't tolerate almost any sugar substitutes.  But

at

this point, not getting enough fluids and having too much sugar far outweighs

the negatives.  And it's always a goal to reduce the amount.

I found Truvia (small packets for coffee) very good, too. But I have not tried

raw Truvia. Have your tried it?
