Hi, new member (what ever your name is)!

Go to: http://www.whale.to/vaccines/thimerosal4.html

for what you are looking for. You must know the details of the vaccines your

daughter received in order to properly figure it out. Your pediatrician has

that info (required by fed gov.).

Your daughter sounds very much like mine, who is now nine years old. In

addition to the Mercury issue, she has slightly elevated Antimony from her very

expensive, pure cotton nightgowns (transdermally absorbed from the fire

retardant that the gown are treated with). Which is more likely to happen,

antimony poisoning or being burned in a fire by her nightgown? EHHH! The answer

is: Antimony poisoning! The federal government is so dumb sometimes. Just

another issue to alert them to (sigh!).

Of course from all of the antibiotics, systemic yeast infection is a problem.

We have treated with Diflucan, and now she takes probiotics. I guess its a long

road that we are on....

[ ] New Member

My 4yr old daughter has been diagnosed with epilepsy and PDD-NOS. Her

speech is terrible and there has been major regression. She had four

DPT/DT shots from 11/97-4/99, four HIB's from 11/97-4/99, three HEP B

from 9/97-9/98 and the MMR in 9/98. Her EEG's are abnormal and have

been since 4/2000. She has been on three anti-convulsants and still

takes depakene. She has had only one clinical seizure in the past

year. She had a normal MRI done on 10/11/01. She was on constant anti-

biotics for 2 yrs due to chronic sinus infections. How much mercury,

in PPM, do you think was introduced through vacinations? P.S.-I

analyze Hg in fish for a living. Could you include volume and

concentrations of the suspect vaccines.

Hi there new member and welcome,

Before considering chealation you should have an overnight eeg before

starting. Some children have small seizures during sleep that you do not

know about. If you haven't already done this it would be to your benefit.

Don't let anyone talk you into an eeg that is the 30 to 40 minute kind. For

our kids those aren't worth the paper the are printed on!

We had two 48 hr EEG's done this year. What should we be looking for

Hi, Jane!

I think the answer is seizures. I understand that ALA may cause seizures in

some children, so obviously if there are seizures to begin with, you need to

know that.

I am not sure where that leaves my daughter, who has had seizures since she was

seven months old and has not started chelation yet. However, since I stopped

vaccinating her she is doing better, and really doesn't have seizures now.

Instead, she is just addicted to Tranxene (Clorazepate), an anti-seizure med.

Not good, but I am optimistic we will figure this out.

Hi :

I have a friend who was also on this list for a long time whose son with

" autism " also has seizures and has been chelating for about two years.

Would you like to get connected with her to discuss the subject. She is

on many list and no longer is on this one. Only so much time in a day.

Let me know and I'll ask her if it is O.K. for you to talk.

In Christ's love and mine...Jen : )

Hi Patti,

Welcome. I don't know a thing about how to interpret bloodwork.

To find out if your son has mercury, I would suggest that you

get a hair elements test (with essential and toxic elements)

run by DDI (which is a lab). Then, use the information in the

file here to figure out if he is likely toxic:

/files/Counting%2BRules

IMPORTANT: if the hair test comes back with " normal " for mercury,

that is not meaningful. Ignore it. That's why you need the

counting rules. BTW the hair test should also tell you (again)

if he is high copper, and many other metals. Since you have

a DAN doctor, perhaps he will order this hair test for you

from DDI. (If for some reason this is a problem, ask for info

on how to order it yourself-- costs more.)

You might find the list really interesting too.

Oh, and for high copper one can give/take zinc, which will lower

the copper level.

Hi Patti

Sounds like you're fighting hard for your son. He is very lucky. Your

situation is not unlike what we are experiencing with our son, Caleb

(2.2). He even weighs 27lbs.

I highly recommend you read the FAQ for this newsgroup. There are other

files which can help you interpret hair tests. You spoke of " a slew of

" stuff " and I dont even know if it is helping or necessary " .There are

nutritional supplements that help with the changes in the biochemistry

that have occurred in your son. You find many differing opinions as to

what works or is necessary. These are often some Omega 3 source (like

cod liver oil/flax seed) Vitamin C, & E, riboflavin, B6, zinc, &

magnesium. Differing enzymes and probiotics (friendly bacteria:

Acidophollis spp) and frutoligiosacharrides FOS (which feed the good

bacteria). Giving our son supplements has helped our son, specifically

the probiotics, zinc and magnesium. I suspect B6 supplements might be

making him have loose stools again. (i know that smell you mentioned its

fermentation like). We've taken them out for now.

What tests have you had done? Did you have a hair sample test done? If

so there is a file for the newsgroup called " counting rules " that can

help you (if the test was from DDI)

Best Wishes

(Caleb's Dad)

Reading the FAQ file, trolling through the archives for questions

similar to those you would ask (e. g. the light stools come up often

and relate to bile), whether the DAN! chelation protocol is the best

way to do things, etc. is a good start. Then with that under your

belt you can probably post some of the tests in detail and get some

people to talk about them.

Rh factor is referring to your blood type. For example, mine is A

positive. Women who have a negative Rh factor and have a child with

a positive Rh factor are given a shot afterward to prevent them from

developing antibodies to their next child's blood should they also

have a positive Rh factor. I hope that makes sense.

Eileen,

I am RH positive. I don't think RH + or - directly links to autism. The

only difference is that if you are RH negative, they will give you a shot

to prevent the conflicts in case your child is Rh positive when you are

giving birth. I read one paper before. I just don't know how to decribe it.

Anyway, the whole thing is that you don't need Rh shot during your

pregancy. The Rh shot contains themerosal and that is what Rh negative moms

on this list now found out and believe the contribution to the autism.

Most of the shots we got and our kids got after birth contain mercury and

made our kids toxic. Then the virus in the vaccine shots stir up out kids'

immuse system and damage the whole body. Even though the root causes are

same, different kids may be affected in different area. That's why there is

whole lot different spectrum there. Before one year old, my son developed

normally to reach all developing milestones. He then started to band his

head on the wall and floor after he got his MMR shots at 15 months old.

There were some other small reation I saw him with other shots. But the

MMR turned everything down. I think it was the quantity accumulating

results. Not only one shot make the damage, but all added together.

Hello,

I am a new member. I have three children ,all with some form of special

needs. Although it is my youngest that I believe was injures due to

vaccines.

My son Jordan , at his 12 mo check up ( 5 days after turning 1), received

the mmr and varicella shots. Afterwards he got a high fever. he is the only

one of my children that reacted to the vaccines. a few weeks later, I found

him on the floor stating off into space, burning up. I took him to the ER

with a ear infrection and a fever of 103-104. His fever lasted 3 days. and

he

continued to get ear infections on and off for the next 6 mo. when he was

15

mo, he received the hib and dtp shots, I think those are what pushed him

over

three mo later, he was developmentally regressed to that of a 6 -8 mo old.

he

hadn't walked but prior to this he had started to say some words ( or

attempting to for a 1 yo), he sat up at 6 mo. rolled over, etc. would look

at

you straight in the eyes and loved to laugh. I am also curious of how many

of

you are involved in the autism lawsuits. I am ,according to my medical

records, is RH positive. does anyone know what that means? I would like to

hear from anyone . does this sound familiar?

Dear Eileen,

welcome to the list.

When you say " does this sound familiar? " -- well -- I don't mean to

sound stupid here-- but I'm not sure whether you are referring to the

whole story or the part about RH positive. I can tell you that the

whole story sounds VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY familiar. All too

familiar. Sadly familiar. Sickeningly familiar.

I have no kids and came to this list to learn about mercury poisoning

(which I thought was maybe something that was a problem for me).

Not sure how many posts I had to read about healthy kids regressing

after vaccines before I really really really " got it " . Horrible.

I recommend the book: " What Your Doctor May NOT Tell You About

Children's Vaccinations " by Cave MD. REALLY recommend

you get this and read it. I'd bet you will not be able to put it

down.

best wishes,

Moria

I would check titres, because most likely your child does not need the

boosters and is already fully immune. Here is my vaccination opinion,

which includes information on single vax, etc, if you do decide to

give boosters.

Several parents in mid- & northern NJ go up to Rhinebeck NY to see Dr. Ken

Bock, and opinions are favorable.

Re: vaccines - Cave's new book on vaccinations offers an

alternative vaccine schedule to the CDC's and is worth checking out. There

really aren't separate diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis vaccines, only

diphtheria/tetanus and tetanus alone. You can't get pertussis alone. Also,

the DT and Tetanus vaccines all contain thimerosal; it has only been removed

from the combined DTaP. It is extremely difficult right now to find the

monovalent measles vaccine in the US. If you can find it please let the list

know.

I didn't see where you got a response to this, so I thought I would try to help

a little with at least the vaccine question. You might get the book " What Your

Doctor May Not Tell You About Children's Vaccinations " by Cave, M.D.

You can find info about it at www.twbookmark.com It's a very practical guide to

vaccines. You might take a look at www.909shot.com too. You might find some

info there or links to help you with your decisions. Also, www.safeminds.org is

a good site that probably will have some links of interest to you. I can't help

on the DAN doc, though. Hopefully someone will answer you from that area (I

seem to recall a Dr. Bock up in that area...NY maybe?, but I don't have any

first-hand experience with him), just keep asking. Good luck.

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the list and I was hoping someone could

answer a couple questions. I took my 4yo to one of

the DAN docs on the list. He had us do a provoked

urine metals screen using 100mg DMSA once/day for 3

days. It came back 6.5 for mercury (normal range <3)

from DDI. But when we started the treatment rounds he

dosed him the same way, 100mg once/day. He never said

a word about ALA or any supplements other than DHA.

My son was already on Super-Nu-Thera, but no other

supplements. We did 2 more rounds, then stopped when

we found out he was being dosed wrong.

I live in So. Jersey, near Philadelphia. Does anyone

know of a good DAN doctor in this area? I got the

other doc's name off the DAN list, so I'm afraid to

try again without a recommendation.

Also, I have a question about the vaccines the kids

are supposed to get by age 5 - the DPT, MMR and polio.

Are these vaccines availabe in single components

instead of combination shots, and if so, are they safe

if given, say, 6 months apart???

I'd appreciate any input!

The dentist should be mercury free.

The patients who are having amalgam removed should breathe through a

nosepiece so as not to inhale mercury dust and vaopor, and should have

a dam placed to keep it out of their mouths.

There is no generally accepted protocol. Some protection as above is

required, but there is no agreemetn after that.

I think root canals can be dealt with after amalgam removal - most

people get better just from amalgam replacement without doing anything

for the root canals.

What is under crowns is an important issue.

You may find some useful information on things to do AFTER the

Hey everyone. Just wanted to introduce myself to you. My name is

and I have a 22 month old with ASD. I like most of you know

that this has been mercury induced. My son recieved over 100 mcgs

through vaccines and we are currently in litigation with the vaccine

manufacturers. I am only 3 months into all of this as my son was

just diagnosed in February, 2002. Could use lots of advise and help

interpreting test resluts that I am getting back. Anyone out there

good at doing this? Thanks and look forward to talking with you guys.

IF YOU ARE INVOLVED IN A LAWSUIT PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL WHAT YOU SAY

ON THE INTERNET. THIS IS AN OPEN LINE AND ANYONE CAN ACCESS IT.

INCLUDING DEFENSE LAWYERS.

Thanks for your concern, but I don't say anything on here or anyother

board that I don't want everyone to know. Because we are involved in

a law suit I am very careful anyway. Just curious though, how could

an attorney or anyone else for that matter obtain my personal

information as my id here is not related to my name?

It is really easy. They send you interrogatories or depose you and

ask. If they later find out you didn't disclose everything, you would

automatically lose everything at trial.

There are more technically sophisticated ways, but simply using court

ordered discovery is the one that all competent attorneys should be

doing routinely.

BTW, they can also use interrogatories on your internet service

provider, phone company, etc. and those entities will spill their

guts. The discovery process gives both sides the legally enforceable

power to ask questions of anyone who might have information relevant

to a case and most isp's automatically comply with all apparently

legitimate court paperwork that shows up in their mail.

Good morning ph,

Welcome to this corner of the world.

Here is information on how/where to buy these:

/files/HOW_TO_buy_DMSA

I believe that WITH a perscription they are generally available.

I hope someone will inform me if I am wrong about that!

> Also I'm looking for a doctor who could help with all

of this;

My thoughts on that subject:

See the file (above) HOW_TO_buy_DMSA. The cost of DMSA is

specified in there. WITH an Rx the cost of DMSA is much higher,

which MAY be " lower " if your insurance pays some of it.

DMPS is MUCH more expensive than DMSA. I can't tell you

actual figures, but it is not a trivial differnece-- more on

the order of 10 times. I guess I should get some real figures

so I can say. LOL.

best wishes,

Moria
