Guest guest
Hi everyone, It's been a while (busy lately), but I wanted to post about something I was thinking about from last night. I was watching a DVD of the British sitcom 'Absolutely Fabulous,' which was on during the early 90s. It's about a crazy fashion woman who is completely out of control and her daughter, who is kind of the voice of reason and tries to behave normally. I first saw this show with my mother years ago. She brought a tape of it to Christmas at my father's (they lived apart but my dad always invited her for Christmas...which was nice of him, perhaps too nice). Although my dad and I did not find it so funny then, she insisted on watching all of the episodes. What really got me thinking though was that she liked to characterize our relationship as similar to the mother and daughter on this show. I mean, wouldn't that be a hint that there was something wrong? She found it hilarious that we were so alike. Anyway, just wanted to share, for some reason this is bugging me. is
