Rash after starting Valtrex?

Hi everyone, I have a friend in Europe who has recently started her son on

Valtrex and it looks like he has a rash (from the pics it looks like Roseola?

Not sure though).  My child didn't have the rash after starting Valtrex, has

anyone else had their child break out into a rash during die-off? 

Thanks for your help! I feel so bad for this poor mom who is doing everything

she can for her very sick boy.

My son broke out w/ several rashes about 3 weeks into valtrex. He had a red rash

all around his mouth. Cold sore on each corner of his mouth and a few cancker

sores in him mouth on the lower lip. He also had a chicken pox looking rash on

his inner thighs and buttocks. He had 6 ymetrical eczema stripes across his

stomach.  He was a bit itchy so we treated w/ oatmeal baths and hydrocortisone

cream. The only sores that did bother him were the ones in his mouth. Rashes are

proof it's working.
