Hi -- I just wrote in about possibly trying an EMEM machine as a gentler alternative to the coil.   I have a coil machine, but I was getting blown out on 30 sec treatments.  we even reduced the power a bit to 12 - 13 amps, and it is still strong.  I just read another womans' post that she started with very short treatment times ( like 3 sec?).. Wondering if in addition to looking into the EMEM perhaps simply shortening my treatment times ( to say 10 sec) would be a good way to start.  I kept thinking i had to treat for at least 30 sec to create movement, but maybe not.

thanks very much for any feedback

Prickly,

You can knock the power down further if you feel that the coil is too strong and work your way up in power and/or time.

Hi -- how low can you turn the power and still have effectiveness?  when we called Levy I believe he said it needed to be at leset 10 amps, but I'm not sure how accurate that  is.. curious to hear if others have reports of effecvtiveness at less than 10 amps.

I really appreciate the encouragement of using very short sessions and seeing progress that way.  I think I had a mental block at reducing time below 30 sec.  I did 10 sec on my coil last night and it felt very helpful.  Yay.

Hi,

I just wrote to you about this, yes dropping your session time is probably

all you need to do... I would start with 5 seconds, then follow the instructions

I posted about the relationship between killing protocols and herxing...

Take care,

Jim

Hi Yay,

When I mentioned to you about less time per session, this is just to start...

You need to product good medium herxes to stay ahead of Lyme, following

the instructions I posted to you will help you achieve these...

The goal is to start with lower session times and scale up from there...

Take care,

Jim
